Dietmar Hamann said that Germany could look forward to a
bright future despite their 2-0 defeat by Brazil in the
World Cup final on Sunday."Germany can be proud of
finishing as runners-up after only qualifying for the
World Cup via the play-offs in November," insisted
Hamann."The future is brighter than before. It was
important for us to show we are still alive. A lot of
people suffered after we lost to England," said Hamann,
