Demi Lovato Lands Modeling Contract

Singer. Actress. Body-positive Instagrammer. Frequent hair-changer. And now: model. Demi Lovato’s busy 2015 just keeps getting busier.

Lovato was just signed to the Wilhelmina Models roster, which also represents fellow celebs-turned-models including RJ Mitte, Ellar Coltrane and Ruby Rose (not to mention BFF Nick Jonas). And though she’s had plenty of experience posing for brands including Skechers, her skincare line and nail art products, but, Wilhelmina says in a press release announcing the new hire, the modeling agency “will aim to continue raising Demi’s already sophisticated profile by securing modeling and endorsement deals in the fashion and beauty arenas, as well as seeking out editorial opportunities.”

Says Lovato, 23, in the same release, “I’m thrilled to sign my first major modeling contract with Wilhelmina. I’m very excited to see where our work together will go creatively as I enter the next phase of my career and continue to develop as an artist.”

She’s already got a jump-start on gigs: Who could forget her spur-of-the-moment, empowering nude shoot for Vanity Fair? At the time, she said, “I want to show the side of me that’s real, that’s liberated, that’s free. What if we do a photo shoot where it’s totally raw? Super-sexy, but no makeup, no fancy lighting, no retouching, and no clothing. Let’s do it here, let’s do it now.”

Taylor Swift Turned to Drive Thru After Grammys Loss

An In-N-Out burger can do a lot more than alleviate hunger. For Taylor Swift, it can help cope with a Grammy loss.

The pop star told Grammy Pro she "ate a lot" after Daft Punk's Random Access Memories won Album of the Year in January 2014.

"I remember not going to after parties, " she said. "I went home and I cried a little bit and I got In-N-Out burger and ate a lot."

Swift's album Red was the favorite going into the awards ceremony, and she thought she had won when the presenter Alicia Keys uttered the first syllable.

"When they announced the Album of the Year winner, it was like, 'And the Album of the Year goes to Raaaandom Access Memories,'" Swift said. "And they really dragged out the 'Raaa.' And I was like, for a second there, I kind of thought we had it. And we didn't."

The devastating loss may have helped Swift create her most recent effort, 1989, which became the best-selling album of 2014.

"I was just thinking a lot before bed about what I had made so far for the next album that was to become 1989, but I didn't know that then," she said. "We don't make music so we can win a lot of awards, but you have to take your cues from somewhere if you're going to continue to evolve."

"And so I went to bed, and I woke up at four in the morning, like, it's called 1989, I've been making 80s synth pop, I’m just going to do that," Swift added. "I'm calling it a pop record. I am not listening to anyone at my record label. I'm starting tomorrow. So that’s what I did."

Demi Lovato Poses Topless, Sounds Off on Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez: 'People Change'

At 23 years old, the singer is releasing her fifth studio album, Confident, on Oct. 16, feels more secure with her self image than ever before and has a picture-perfect romance with longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

"The only thing that matters to me is that people know who I am today," Lovato tells Complex magazine for her revealing cover story. "With Wilmer, I'm the happiest that I've ever been, so that's all that matters to me."

Finding their relationship's sweet spot has taken work, especially on her inspiring journey to sobriety, Lovato pointed out.

"We have been together for almost five years now, off and on," she explained. "The only times that we were off was when I was not in a healthy state of mind, or he was like, 'I can't be with you until you get sober. I can't enable what you're doing right now.' ... So I did, and then that made our relationship so much stronger."

Nowadays, the dark-haired beauty seems more concerned about her wedding dreams.

"I love shabby chic [weddings]," she said. "I don't know if it would be in a barn, but I think I'd definitely want an outdoor wedding, with lights hanging in the trees."

Lovato, who rose to fame on the Disney Channel's original movie Camp Rock in 2008, told the magazine her new music reflects her newfound willingness to push the limits.

"There's a song that I wrote from an experience that was 10 years ago," she said. "Then there are songs that I'm writing right now because I'm just now getting the balls to say some of the stuff that I want to."

She continued, "'Cool for the Summer' was pretty ballsy. I think 'Waiting for Ya' is a pretty ballsy song. I'm excited for people to hear it, too, because that's the song where I show you that a lot of people have their cute little feuds in public, but I don't really have those because if you want to have a feud, you can just come to me in person and we'll settle it."

Lovato expressed her desire to have her music recognized by her peers – she already has her sights set on the Grammy Awards in February.

"I just want to be nominated for one [Grammy]," she said. "You can't go higher than the Grammys in the music industry. That was a huge goal for this album. I watched the Grammy nominations last year and I was like, 'I want to be there so bad.' It really gave me that kick in the ass to make music that was worthy of it. [Stone Cold] is a song that I feel like is worthy . . . "

Selena Gomez's London Wardrobe Will Make You Excited to Wear Tights

Gomez wore three chic outfits in less than 12 hours on Tuesday. The common denominator: black, opaque tights (which we all have sitting in our closets.)

For a visit to KISS FM studios, the star selected a red sequin mod-style Preen mini dress (which is perfect for a holiday party) and black satin platforms, proving you can wear open-toe shoes with tights.

She left KISS FM headquarters in another fall-ready look — a black sweater dress featuring a red turtleneck and button-embellished cuffs, keeping her tights and shoes exactly the same.

Gomez saved her sexiest look of the day for a visit to Capital Studios, where she sported a white sleeveless coat style dress, and you guessed it, her black opaques and platforms. Her Pantene-worthy glossy blowout remained flawless for all her appearances.

The 22-year-old singer just released her sexy new video for “Same Old Love,” in which she performs for 800 of her fans, some of who made it into the video!

In this week’s issue of PEOPLE, Gomez reveals that she loves to have fun with her outfits while promoting her new album Revival, set for release on Oct. 9.

“Music always inspires me, and it characterizes my wardrobe a little more,” she says.

Katy Perry Pulls Two Big Hair Changes in One Night!

The singer made two bold mane moves on Wednesday night, proving she’s Hollywood’s true hair chameleon.

Perry hit the red carpet at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party in N.Y.C. wearing a glittering metallic high-slit gown. But her red hair was the most eye-catching part of the look. Perry styled her hair in side-swept Old Hollywood style waves.

She also shared a cryptic photo on Instagram (see below) that could be the inspiration behind the look. The photo shows a skeleton in a red strapless dress with pinned up red hair. The caption? “Get the paints out #nyfw.”

Perry performed at the star-studded party, taking the stage in a heavily-embellished gown covered in sequins and butterfly appliques. She performed some of her biggest hits including “Roar,” “Teenage Dream,” and “I Kissed a Girl,” which she dedicated to Mariah Carey, telling the crowd: “This song goes out to my fellow icon …Mimi!”

Justin Bieber Explains to Jimmy Fallon Why He Got Emotional During the VMAs

Justin Bieber made his triumphant return to the stage at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, but it was his emotional breakdown at the end of his performance that had people talking. The singer explained the reasons for his tears during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.

"It was just so overwhelming for me, everything, just the performance – I missed some cues so I was a little disappointed at that – and just everyone, just the support," the 21-year-old said. "Honestly, I just wasn't expecting them to support me in the way they did … Last time I was at an award show I was booed."

"I've worked so hard on this album, I've worked so hard at becoming the man I want to become," he continued. "Stepping into situations, you just can't help but feel judged, so I was just feeling judged and just wanting to win so badly and wanting to do what I love so badly that I just put everything on the line. What was just so special about the emotional moment at the end; it was just authentic, it was real."

The multi-platinum singer whose latest single, "What Do You Mean," was released on Friday, revealed that his new album – his first in three years – will be out Nov. 13.

Fallon also touched on Bieber's troubling behavior last year that saw him repeatedly get into trouble with the law.

"I had a bunch of knuckleheads around me, that was pretty much it," he explained. "I just went through a place of trying to figure it out … You have to figure out what you're okay with and you're not okay with, but you have to test the waters. I just happened to be in the spotlight, in front of cameras all the time, and they caught all those moments."

Taylor Swift Invites Selena Gomez on Stage

Taylor Swift set a new record at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for "Most Sold Out Performances," and on her fifth and final night in the City of Angels for her 1989 World Tour, the pop star thanked her fans by bringing out one surprise after another.

First to hit the stage with the singer on Wednesday was best friend Selena Gomez, who sang her sexy summer hit "Good For You" live for the first time with Swift.

"The person about to come out onto the stage is a multi-talented performer who's good at pretty much everything that she does. She is beautiful and funny and sweet and talented and intelligent and one of my best friends," Swift said before Gomez's appearance.

Later in the night, the singer asked her fans to give some extra support for a singer who's "only ever played in coffee houses before."

"She's never played in a big venue like this. Please make her feel welcome," Swift told her sold-out crowd before bringing out Phoebe Buffay a.k.a. Lisa Kudrow.

The two launched into a rendition of "Smelly Cat," which Kudrow said last summer she hadn't performed since Friends ended.

"I have a LOT of people ask. I've not done it," she said in a Reddit AMA session last June.

For her final surprise of the night, Swift brought out Justin Timberlake after explaining to the audience how hard it had been to keep his appearance a secret.

"You have no idea. I don't even know where to start because anyone who knows me knows this is my favorite artist," she said about Timberlake before the duo sang his hit "Mirrors." As they walked off stage together, Swift told the singer "That was amazing, are you kidding?"

"Justin hasn't performed since he became a dad, and I'm just so honored that this was his first performance back," she told the audience after Timberlake left the stage. "I just am so happy that he would dedicate his night to coming out and playing for you guys. He's just the best! That's why he's my favorite."

The star's wife Jessica Biel, along with newly engaged Julianne Hough, Reese Witherspoon, Jack Antonoff, Alessandra Ambrosio and Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris were all spotted in the crowd by fans.

Beyoncé Shares Throwback Photo with Blue Ivy, 'The Real Covergirl'

As if one flawless Vogue cover wasn't enough, Beyoncé is here to remind us that this is not her first time posting for the iconic magazine.

On Friday, Queen Bey shared a throwback photo of herself and 3-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter from a previous cover shoot with the fashion mag.

"The real cover girl. My delicious Blue Blue at 11 months old," the singer captioned the photo.

The mother-daughter duo wore ivory, ruffled dresses in the picture and both had their hair in an updo – with Blue sporting an adorable topknot.

Britney Spears Does a Perfect Handstand: 'The World Looks Better Upside Down'

Just one day after she was spotted doing the splits on a Hawaiian beach, Britney Spears showed off another of her enviable skills by doing a perfect headstand.

"The world looks better upside down," she captioned a photo posted on Twitter on Friday night.

The singer, 33, has been enjoying the summer with her two sons, Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8, as she takes a break from her Las Vegas show, Britney: Piece of Me.

The trio had some fun in the sun in Hawaii, and the proud mom also shared a video on Instagram earlier this week of her boys' super skateboarding stunts.

Spears doesn't seem to be taking a break from her workouts while she's on summer vacay. The singer, who returns to the stage later this month, recently shared a pic that showed her doing an intense back bend along with the caption "Namaste."

Britney Spears Flaunts Her Flexibility While Doing Splits In Hawaii

Britney Spears had no problem breaking out the splits as she flaunted her flexibility and killer body on vacation in Hawaii. The singer, 33, has never been shy in showing off her love for yoga, posting pics of her workout to her Instagram, and it looks like all that stretching is really paying off!

The mother-of-two struck the pose while wearing a striped bikini and relaxing in the sand with her two sons Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8.

Spears has been chronicling her sun-filled summer on social media. Earlier this week, she posted another snapshot from her tropical getaway featuring her two sons as they relaxed in the water with a resort backdrop. The picture also showed the singer rocking a purple bikini that just so happened to match her lavender ombré hair!

Taylor Swift Tells Nicki Minaj 'I Missed the Point' over VMA Nominations Twitter Exchange

Looks like Taylor Swift is hoping to "Begin Again" with Nicki Minaj.

The "Bad Blood" singer, 25, apologized to the rapper, 32, after the two entertainers exchanged words on Twitter over the MTV VMA nominations.

"I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki," Swift Tweeted Thursday morning.

Minaj quickly replied, "That means so much Taylor, thank you." In response to a fan excited that the pair made up, the rapper added, "I've always loved her. Everyone makes mistakes. She gained so much more respect from me. Let's move on."

On Tuesday, Swift and Minaj made headlines when they had a tense interaction on Twitter after the rapper complained that her video for "Anaconda" was not nominated for video of the year because it didn't feature enough women "with very slim bodies." While Minaj didn't reference any specific artist or video, Swift took the Tweet to be about her. (Swift's celebrity-studded video for "Bad Blood" was nominated for video of the year.)

"I've done nothing but love & support you," Swift wrote. "It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot."

Swift also invited Minaj to come onstage with her if she wins the award, adding that she's "invited to any stage" that she's ever on.

The exchange gained a lot of attention, with Katy Perry and Swift's friend and fellow video of the year nominee Ed Sheeran weighing in with their own take on the online debate surrounding the stars' Tweets.

On Wednesday, Minaj clarified her initial Tweets about the VMA nominations, saying that her remarks had "nothing to do with" Swift or Beyoncé, who was also nominated for video of the year for "7/11."

"Nothing to do with any of the women, but everything to do with a system that doesn't credit black women for their contributions to pop culture as freely/quickly as they reward others," Minaj wrote. "We are huge trendsetters, not second class citizens that get thrown crumbs. This isn't anger. This is #information. It's all love to MTV."

Now that Swift and Minaj have officially buried the hatchet, Ricky Gervais has chimed in with a lighter take on the situation.

"I know we're all relieved that Taylor and Nicki have reconciled, but I still can't totally relax till I know what Katy thinks of it all.," he writes. "When you've lived through Tupac & Biggie, so called celebrity feuds just don't seem to cut the mustard any more."

Katy Perry Jumps Into Twitter Debate Between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj

Katy Perry jumped into the tense Twitter debate between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj on Wednesday.

In her own Twitter post, quickly retweeted by tens of thousands, Perry, 30 without naming names seemed to suggest it was "ironic" that Swift had criticized Minaj for starting a feud between two women, when Swift herself seemed to be fanning such flames.

Perry's words followed Swift's Tweet from Tuesday in which she responded to Minaj's Tweet about not getting an MTV Video Music Awards nomination for Video of the Year. Minaj, 32, said she'd have to put "women with very slim bodies" in a video to get a nod, which Swift, 25, took as a reference to her. (Minaj later said it wasn't, and they seemed to half-patch things up.)

After a conciliatory Tweet, Swift left the topic alone, though Minaj linked to a number of articles about the dustup on Wednesday.

Perry's Tweet on Wednesday fanned the flames of a rumored long-running feud with Swift, and many believe Swift's hit song "Bad Blood" is about Perry.

Justin Bieber Gives Advice to Rising Pop Star Tori Kelly

Tori Kelly may still be considered an "up-and-comer," but she's firmly established herself on the music scene, finding success after years of posting YouTube videos and killing it on shows like Star Search, America's Most Talented Kids and American Idol.

At least Kelly, 22, doesn't have to feel overwhelmed – she has friends in high places who are eager to help guide her on her journey to pop super-stardom. Unsuspecting role model Justin Bieber took it upon himself to offer the burgeoning pop star – whose first album, Unbreakable Smile, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 some advice on handling fame.

"Justin came to my album release party in May," Kelly told ABC . "And it was cool to see him just so relaxed. He was very mature and very wise. And I was just telling him, 'How did you feel when you put out your first album? Like, how was it?' Because I'm freaking out right now. And he was like, you know, 'You've just gotta appreciate all these people here supporting you and like that's what it's about. It's about the people and it will go by so fast.' "

Bieber wasn't the only A-lister who came out to support Kelly at her release party, which attracted stars like Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Ashley Benson, Cody Simpson and Meghan Trainor.

Kelly's streak hasn't stopped there. The singer took the BET Awards by storm, performing a powerful rendition of Smokey Robinson's "Who's Lovin' You" and heating up PEOPLE's Instagram.

Taylor Swift Says Lady Gaga's 'Magical' Tweet Gave Her 'Good Love Luck'

Swift joked that the "Bad Romance" singer was responsible for her love luck with Calvin Harris through a Tweet to a fan on Saturday.

The 25-year-old dished out some relationship advice when Swiftie Alex Goldschmidt Tweeted about his struggle to find romance.

"I pride myself on still thinking love can be like a romantic comedy but sometimes I just think I'm behind and just won't catch up," Goldschmidt wrote.

The singer didn't hesitate to respond, and wrote back "Go read Gaga's tweet that she sent me a few months ago. It's good love luck."

"Because it's not a tweet," she added. "It's a magical spell."

The Tweet in question? Gaga's kind words to Swift back in early March.

"@taylorswift13 wow you're a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come," the singer, 29, wrote in response to Swift's praise of the pop star's Oscars performance.

The "Alejandro" singer also weighed in on Saturday, responding to Swift's claims of love sorcery.

"@taylorswift13 I only cast happy spells! Unless there's bad blood," she wrote. "I have a separate cauldron for that. Happy for u."

Watch the video of Demi falling at the pool party

Demi Lovato Falls on Stage in Crazy High Heels, Handles It Like a Pro!

Demi Lovato has been throwing some epic pool parties to promote her new single “Cool for Summer.” She’s also been wearing some super-sexy swimsuits and non pool-appropriate footwear, which got the singer into a bit of trouble during a performance in L.A. on Sunday.

Lovato took the poolside stage at 102.7 Kiis FM’s party at the WaterMarke Tower, wearing a sexy plunging Gypsea one-piece, a white button-down tied around her waist and mega-high colorful platforms that said “Cool” across the front and featured a neon lucite heel.

Fans were excited, the stage was slippery from all the splashing, and unfortunately Lovato lost her balance and hit the ground hard. But, the 22-year-old singer didn’t let the tumble slow her down, jumping right back up and then into the pool to greet fans in true, kickass Lovato style. And she even posted a video of the whole thing on Instagram.

Lovato told PEOPLE earlier this year that she’s been working out regularly and feels proud of her fit physique. But most importantly, she wants her fans to know that beauty comes from the inside.

“The photo that I shared on Instagram, I just wanted people to know that you don’t have to have a thigh gap to be beautiful, and to reinforce that it’s all about finding the confidence inside,” she shared.

She Did It Again Britney Spears Adorably Recreates Album Cover with Sons in Disneyland

Britney Spears gave in to nostalgia on Saturday, recreating her iconic Oops!... I Did It Again album cover with her sons when she came across a beaded curtain while in Disneyland.

In the sweet photo, Spears peeks through the beads while her sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8, flank either side of their mom.

"The boys and I doing our best #Oops album cover pose," she wrote.

2000's Oops!... I Did It Again was Spears's second studio album, and featured the hit single, along with popular tunes "Lucky" and "Stronger."

Spears and her family spent the Fourth of July at the popular California theme park, documenting the trip on social media.

In one photo, the star dons a floral peplum top, khaki shorts and a Minnie Mouse ears, as she, Sean and Jayden pose from a park ride.

"Happy 4th of July from the happiest place on earth," she wrote.

Spears, who recently split from boyfriend Charlie Ebersol after an eight-month romance, previously opened up to PEOPLE about life as a single mom and her boys' unique personalities.

"Preston is very opinionated, very expressive, and if he doesn’t like something, he's going to tell you," she says. "But he has a huge heart, he's a good kid and he has manners … Jayden is sweet, very soft-spoken, kinda funny. He's adorable a momma's boy."

Iggy Azalea Says Britney Spears Is Still a 'Good Friend' Despite Twitter Controversy

Are Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea the latest celebrities to engage in a Twitter feud?

The duo raised eyebrows on social media this week after Azalea, 25, participated in a Twitter Q&A over the weekend and expressed frustration that their duet, "Pretty Girls," failed to gain traction on the pop charts after it was released last month.

A day later, newly single Spears, 33, hit back on her Twitter account, seemingly aiming a subtle dig at Azalea, who canceled her "Great Escape" tour last month. Spears, meanwhile, recently extended her Vegas residency, "Britney: Piece of Me," for three months.

It's possible all the angst about "Pretty Girls" might be for naught. Although the song has barely cracked the top 30 on the pop charts, its video has garnered nearly 80 million views on YouTube  and it still has plenty of time to compete for the title of Song of the Summer.

Watch Selena Gomez do an impersonation of Taylor Swift

Gomez Do a Flawless Impersonation of BFF Taylor Swift

On a recent visit to the iHeartRadio studio earlier this week, Selena Gomez was asked by a fan to do her best impersonation of pal Taylor Swift.

Starting her impersonation with a perfect reenactment of Swift's infamous concert hair toss, Gomez then turned on her inner diva, dramatically pointing into her imaginary crowd.

Like any good best friend, Gomez revealed she's "seen every single one" of Swift's concerts.

The clip also features the singer and actress doing an impressive impersonation of Shakira.

Gomez released the video for her new single featuring A$AP Rocky "Good For You" on Friday.

Selena Gomez Says She's Guarded: 'I Don't Trust Anyone'

Selena Gomez says years in the limelight has left her "guarded," and unable to "trust anyone."

The singer, 22, who premiered her new single with A$AP Rocky "Good For You" on Monday, spoke candidly about the harsh reality of fame during an interview with Elvis Duran on Z100's morning show.

"People are like, 'We want you to be better!' And everybody's like 'I want you to be better' and everybody's like 'I want you to be healthy,' 'I want you to be happy,' 'I want you to be this,'" she said. "And then the moment you're trying to find some sort of happiness, it's so crazy. It's not safe for anyone! You can't talk about anything that you want to share with people because it's going to be ripped apart, and that's what makes me really sad."

Gomez said instead she began relying on her music to reveal her thoughts, especially through her 2014 single, "The Heart Wants What It Wants."

"If you're going to sit here and talk about my life, I have a right to say what I want and obviously I'm going to do it the way I wish to," she said, later adding, "I don't trust anyone."

"It's something that I have to live with and I have to find the balance of who I want in my life and who isn't good for me," she said.

The Spring Breakers star said she often opts to stay home instead of heading out, because the paparazzi are "everywhere" in Los Angeles.

"I don't have a cat yet, don't make me a cat lady yet," she joked to Duran. "Taylor [Swift]'s trying to convince me to get one."

Gomez said she thinks her fans are smarter than the gossip because they better understand who she is.

"No matter what happens or what people are saying about me, what's going to come through is who I am," she said Monday. "If I was truly everything that people say I am, you would see it. It's not like I can hide anything anymore!"

The star said she feels people often forget she's a human being with real feelings.

"I get sad, I get anxious, I get emotional, I get happy," she said. "Especially in my 20s, my gosh! I feel like I'm figuring out who I am and I'm constantly being criticized."

Gomez revealed her new song, which features A$AP Rocky, represents her journey to figure herself out and "the confidence of me turning into a young woman."

"I think that this song represents the confidence that I truly have inside of me, and I think it's the vulnerable side that I've expressed, but it's also the combination of just feeling myself," she said, adding, "It's good!”

Katy Perry is the new face of Jeremy Scott’s Moschino

Katy Perry and Jeremy Scott looked like lifelong BFFs at May’s Met Gala, and now we know why: The “Roar” songstress is the newest face of Scott’s Moschino brand. Meanwhile, J.Crew hires Madewell’s head of design, Somsack Sikhounmuong, to be the head of women’s design at their suffering brand.

-What was with Katy Perry’s short, Kris Jenner-like hairdo at the Met Gala? Turns out it’s the look she’s sporting in her debut Moschino ad, in which she also sports a gold bra, patchwork jean jacket and lots of bling.

-J.Crew has been in a serious sales slump, but the powers that be hope the recent hiring of Madewell designer Somsack Sikhounmuong will turn things around. The company also let go 175 full-time employees to cut down on expenses.

Kendall Jenner was appointed the face of Estée Lauder back in November, but the reality star-turned-model has just made her debut for the brand’s Modern Muse Le Rouge fragrance campaign and she looks red hot in a crimson blazer.

Jennifer Lopez Moroccan concert sparks calls for minister's resignation

A concert by the pop star Jennifer Lopez in Morocco has led to calls for the country's communication minister to resign, according to local media.

Prominent members of the ruling Justice and Development Party said the singer's performance at the Mawazine Festival in Rabat was "a breach of public decency".

The Minister of Communication Mustapha Khalfi was criticised for allowing the gig to air on public television.

He has rejected calls for his resignation, newspapers say.
Lopez, who is often referred to as J-Lo, performed in front of 160,000 people at the festival on Friday.

The event was transmitted, with a short delay, on the 2M public TV network to the delight of fans.

But local media criticised the singer for her "suggestive poses" and for being "scantily" dressed.

A number of MPs have requested that the "education, culture and communications committee of parliament hold a meeting" to discuss why the show was broadcast.

"What was broadcast is unacceptable and goes against broadcasting law," he added.

Singer and producer Pharrell Williams also performed at the festival over the weekend, with Usher, Placebo and Maroon 5 also scheduled to take to the stage over the coming days.

The Lonely Island Movie Will Take On Justin Bieber And Katy Perry

We already knew that a movie about The Lonely Island was in the works, but now we know the storyline.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jorma Taccone, Akiva Schaffer and Andy Samberg will star in the boy band parody that will take aim at pseudo-music documentaries like Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” and Katy Perry’s “Part of Me.”

When a rapper’s latest album bombs, he resorts to reuniting with his former boy band and, of course, hilarity ensues.

The comedic trio has already had success with three albums, numerous SNL Digital Short— who could forget “Jizz in My Pants” and an Oscar nomination for “Everything Is Awesome.” The project will more than likely incorporate all of those experiences.

Katy Perry Sunflower Dress Sparks Controversy in China

Katy Perry sparked controversy in China after a recent concert in Taipei, Taiwan, where she donned both a Taiwanese flag and a sunflower dress, which many viewed as a pro-Taiwanese statement and expression of solidarity with the 2014 Sunflower Student Movement, E! reports.

Just over a year ago, a group of students occupied Taiwan's parliament for 23 days, protesting the Cross-Strait Service Trade Agreement with mainland China. They believed the pact would give mainland China too much economic and political power over the sovereign nation, with sunflowers used as a symbol of hope throughout the protest.

The relationship between Taiwan (technically known as the Republic of China) and mainland China (People's Republic of China) is incredibly complex, as both governments claim to represent all of China  mainland and associated islands and simultaneously refuse to recognize each other's sovereignty. Since the ROC lost its United Nations seat as "China" to the PRC in 1971, many countries have recognized the latter as the sole legitimate government of China, including the United States (though it maintains unofficial ties with the ROC).

As such, the ROC flag Perry draped over her shoulders was viewed by many as a political statement itself, especially because the PRC has often fought to remove its presence from events like the Olympics or the FIFA World Cup. When combined with the sunflower dress, fans couldn't help but interpret the outfit as a direct allusion to last year's protests.

As Quartz points out, many Taiwanese fans praised Perry's outfit, but it also received harsh criticism in China. Photos of Perry donning the dress and flag were reportedly deleted from Baidu and other Chinese social media sites Thursday morning.

Perry's actual intent remains unclear — the singer hasn't commented on the incident via social media— though the sunflower dress has been a part of her wardrobe throughout much of her Prismatic World Tour. However, it could have serious repercussions for her in mainland China: The country remains an enormous market for both album sales and concerts, but in 2008, as Reuters reported, it began banning performers who "threaten national sovereignty."

While Perry has a concert in China's autonomous Macau region this weekend, she toured the mainland earlier this month. Her concert in Shanghai even featured the sunflower dress.

Zayn Malik has paid tribute to his former bandmates at an award ceremony, where he made his first solo appearance since leaving One Direction.

The 22-year-old, sporting a new shaved hairstyle, was presented with the award for Outstanding Contribution to Music at the fifth annual Asian Awards, held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.
The awards celebrate excellence across the global Pan-Asian community.

Malik said he had an "amazing" time as a member of the pop band.

He also said he was "not really a guy of many words".
He added: "I'd also like to take this moment to thank four of the best guys that I ever met whilst being in the band and doing all the amazing things that I did.

"Some of the things that we did will stay with me for the rest of my life."

Malik ended his speech by saying: "Here's to the future."
He left One Direction last month after returning to the UK from the boy band's tour having been "signed off with stress".

In a statement at the time of his departure, he said wanted to spend time as a "normal 22-year-old" away from the spotlight.

Wale Album Inspired by 'Seinfeld' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard Chart

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The latest record from hip-hop star Wale debuted at the top of the weekly Billboard 200 chart this week. Another fun fact: It's narrated by Jerry Seinfeld.

You read that right. "The Album About Nothing" is inspired by the legendary NBC sitcom. The eponymous comedian doesn't do any rapping, unfortunately — but he serves as the album's "narrator," offering commentary for each track, Wale told The Associated Press.

This isn't the first time Wale has channeled "Seinfeld" in his music. The rapper's 2008 mixtape "Mixtape About Nothing" and 2010's "More About Nothing" are filled with references to the beloved series.

"Seinfeld" celebrated it's 25th anniversary last year. It aired for nine seasons between 1989 to 1998.

One Direction Talks Future In First Interview Since Zayn Malik's Exit

The remaining four members of One Direction have given their first official media interview following the departure of Zayn Malik on March 25.

Speaking to British newspaper The Sun, 1D's Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson discussed the optimistic future of the pop group without Malik.

"All four of us are 100 percent committed to staying in 1D," Tomlinson told The Sun from Dubai, where One Direction performed its last concert for a couple months.

1D also addressed the difficulties of the departure of Malik, who cited stress as a reason for leaving. It has since been revealed that Malik is in the studio working solo music.

"It's been a tough few weeks, probably the toughest since the band was formed five years ago," Payne said. "We're gutted that Zayn chose to leave, but now after a few performances as a four-piece, we're feeling confident and are determined to carry on stronger than ever."

Styles, meanwhile, confirmed that One Direction is working on a follow-up album to last year's Four. "It's very exciting to be working on our fifth album," Styles said. "It shows how incredible the fans have been. A huge thank you to them for everything they've done for us. All the love to them."

Niall Horan caught in frightening airplane drama

The One Direction star’s private jet was forced to abort a landing

Niall Horan and his One Direction bandmates were involved in a mid-air commotion yesterday when the plane they were in was forced to abort an attempted landing.
The band’s private jet was forced to divert to the Kingdom of Bahrain after pilots couldn’t land in Dubai due to a severe sandstorm.
The four-piece band were on board the plane flying from South Africa to Dubai when pilots had to divert the plane.

The lads were trapped on board for hours as they sat on the ground waiting for clearance.
The Best Song Ever singers eventually landed in Dubai seven hours behind schedule despite forecasts the storm could last for several days.
One Direction are due to perform a show in Dubai’s Sevens Stadium tomorrow night.

The dramatic flight comes just days after Niall told fans how “mad” things have been for the group since Zayn Malik’s departure.

Katy Perry accidentally shares her phone number on social media

Katy Perry made several teenage dreams come true when she accidentally gave out her phone number.

The pop star innocently posted a video of her dog Butters on Instagram and Twitter, but didn't realize her pooch's tag clearly displayed her digits.

"B---H BETTER HAVE MY MONEY IF B---H WANTS SAUSAGES!" the 30-year-old singer captioned the photo, which referenced Rihanna's latest track "B---h Better Have My Money," before taking it down, according to Us Weekly.

Perry didn't catch the mistake before posting it but her fans quickly flagged it for the "Firework" singer and defended her privacy by telling folks not to call. But some fans didn't even catch the mishap.

She quickly deleted the post, and deactivated the number. But not before thousands of fans tried to warn her, and tried to get her to hear their best Katy Perry singing impressions.

Zayn Malik solo track taken down after angry response from One Direction's Louis Tomlinson

A song featuring Zayn Malik without the rest of One Direction has been taken down, less than a day after it was shared on Twitter.
Producer Naughty Boy posted a link to the track early on Tuesday, with the words "let the music do the talking".
It came less than a week after Zayn confirmed he was quitting 1D.
Earlier on, the band's Louis Tomlinson accused Naughty Boy of being "inconsiderate" to fans after he retweeted a video about Zayn.
The pair argued on Twitter hours before the demo was made public.

Zayn quit One Direction last week saying he wanted to be a "normal 22-year-old", but early on Tuesday Naughty Boy tweeted a link to his first solo song I Won't Mind.
The track on SoundCloud is now unavailable, but it included the caption: "There is nothing but love for what was left behind. That's why we don't mind. ;) #zaughty #zinabad."

Naughty Boy, whose real name is Shahid Khan, has previously worked with Emeli Sande, Tinie Tempah, Ed Sheeran, Leona Lewis and Rihanna.

The producer tweeted the song hours after having an argument with Zayn Malik's former One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson.
Louis accused the producer of "trying to wind the fans up" after he retweeted a video saying "Zaughty will rise", a reference to working with Zayn.

Louis later tweeted: "Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you're so inconsiderate pal, seriously how old are you? Grow up! #masterofallwisdom."
So far, Zayn hasn't commented on the solo material.

As the band carries on as a four-piece, Zayn has been removed from the video montage which plays at the beginning of One Direction's shows.
Fans in Johannesburg, South Africa, noticed Zayn was missing from the footage at the band's show on Sunday.

Zayn Malik: 'I've let the fans down'

Former One Direction member Zayn Malik spoke for the first time since leaving the group this week -- and said he's sorry for the pain he's caused.

"I feel like I've let the fans down, but I can't do this anymore," he told the UK's outlet The Sun. "It's not that I've turned my back on them or anything, it's just that I just can't do that anymore, because it's not the real me."

He said that he had been feeling uncomfortable in recent months and that his departure was best for everyone concerned.

"I did try to do something that I wasn't happy doing for a while, for the sake of other people's happiness," the 22-year-old said.

But now, he added, "I've never felt more in control in my life. And I feel like I'm doing what's right -- right by myself and right by the boys, so I feel good."

iReport: Fan says 'We need Zayn'

He's getting along fine with the other members of the band, he observed.

According to Us magazine, Malik has started working on a solo project.

One Direction, which also included Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, will continue as a foursome. The group's hits include "Best Song Ever."

The band's announcement Wednesday that Malik was leaving caused mass disbelief among fans all over the world, with many taking to the Internet to express their sadness and devastation.

Jennifer Lopez Gets Called Hottest Mom By Rihanna

The 45-year-old actress has been busy promoting her latest film Home, which also stars Rihanna.

“JLo is like the hottest mom. She’s a MILF!” Rihanna recently shared to E! about Jennifer.

“In this movie… her tone is really comforting, sincere and genuine. When you hear it, you believe it.”

It was a family affair at the L.A. premiere of Home on Sunday. Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez both brought their loved ones to check out DreamWorks’ animated film, in which they both star. RiRi channeled Audrey Hepburn in a pink Dior dress with black heels as she posed for photographers on the red carpet, while her mother, younger brother Rajad, and niece Majesty accompanied her.

The “FourFiveSeconds” singer plays a young girl named Tip in the film. “I loved that she’s so strong and brave and fearless and all these things that we aspire to be,” said RiRi of her character.

Jennifer Lopez shared an adorable red carpet moment with her seven-year-old twins, Max and Emme. Max, looking dapper in a blue suit, wasn’t as excited to be there, but his mom was able to dry his tears and put a smile on his face.

J.Lo plays the mother of Rihanna’s character in the movie, which hits theaters March 27.

Taylor Swift says pet cat Meredith owes her $40 million after scratching her leg

Following rumors that Taylor Swift insured her legs for $40 million, Swift joked on Instagram that her pet cat Meredith needs to pay up after scratching her across her left thigh.

"GREAT WORK MEREDITH I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS," Swift captioned her photo.

Reports said that the rumor of the $40 million insurance policy was first written about in The National Enquirer, where a source explained "It seems like a ludicrous sum, but if something was to happen to her legs, Taylor wouldn't be able to give her signature stage performances. Her $200 million career would be in big trouble."

Taylor, who has named her cats Meredith Gray and Olivia Benson after her favorite TV characters, often uploads photos of her cats' antics to Instagram for her millions of fans to see.

While Swift has not confirmed the rumors of the leg insurance, it's definitely very on-brand of her to make a mockery of these things publicly. She recently posted a photo of herself baring her midriff in a bikini to quell the longtime rumor that she didn't have a belly button.

Demi Lovato: Forget Thigh Gap!

Lovato posted a message of empowerment on Instagram on Friday. In a caption to a photograph of herself sunbathing in a bikini, the singer said that having a thigh gap does not necessarily equal beauty.

"Regardless of what society tells you these days... You don't have to have a thigh gap to be beautiful," she wrote. "It is possible to love your body the way it is. #fitness #health #acceptance #selflove."

Demi Lovato posted a bikini shot on Instagram on February 27, 2015 with the caption, ‘Regardless of what society tells you these days… You don’t have to have a thigh gap to be beautiful. It is possible to love your body the way it is. #fitness #health #acceptance #selflove’ (Instagram)

Demi has herself suffered from body image issues and has learned to embrace her curves. She completed a stint in rehab in 2011 to treat bipolar disorder, cutting and bulimia.

"I've learned to appreciate my body for what it is. It helps to remind myself how far I've come," Demi told Fitness Magazine in December. "I recently saw pictures from my first tour, and I spent that whole summer performing in the heat in a red leather jacket because I was ashamed to show my arms. And that was when I was 105 pounds!"

The star added in the interview that she admires other entertainers who flaunt their fuller figures with pride.

"I'm also really inspired by other women in the spotlight right now who are embracing their curves," Demi continued. "Say what you will about the Kardashians, but they've really helped make curvy bodies beautiful again. It's so nice to look around and see women with hips and a butt, like Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez. They have great figures, but you know they also work really hard for them and don't try to hide their curviness."

Madonna fell off the stage at the 2015 Brit Awards

Pop star Madonna fell off the stage during her performance at the 2015 Brit Awards, on a night that saw Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran each win two prizes.

Madonna tumbled down a set of stairs and landed awkwardly, apparently after a dancer tried to remove a cape she was wearing at the start of her routine.

But she recovered and returned to continue her song, Living For Love.

The 56-year-old issued a statement later saying she was "fine" and that her cape had been "tied too tight".

"Nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up," she wrote on Instagram, referencing the lyrics to her song. "Thanks for your good wishes!"

The painful incident came at the end of a ceremony where Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith shared the honours, winning two awards each.

An average of 5.3 million people tuned in to the ceremony on ITV, according to overnight ratings - rising to 5.8 million when ITV+1 viewers are added in.

That is up from the 4.6 million who tuned in last year - but less than 2013's overnight audience of 6.5 million.

You may have wondered why there was no gasp of shock from the O2 crowd as Madonna took her backward tumble.

Well, sitting way up in the balcony seats among some of Madonna's biggest fans - the type who know and sing along with every lyric - the initial thought was that it may have been a particularly well orchestrated dance manoeuvre.

Consider the evidence - she fell on the lyric "I let down my guard, I fell into your arms" and was back on her feet to sing purposely "now that it's over, I'm going to carry on".

The truth later emerged but credit to the showbiz trooper for carrying on. In the words of those other Brit Award history-makers Chumbawamba "I get knocked down but I get up again".

Selena Gomez's V cover shoot criticized; did they make her look underage?

Selena Gomez has always looked young, but some are saying that V magazine made the baby-faced singer/actor look too young in its racy cover shoot.

Gomez, 22, appears topless on the cover of the fashion magazine with a frilly bow in her hair, and inside wears what have been described as kids clothes.

Several viewers even described her as looking like Lolita, the underage girl seduced by a middle-aged man from the famous Vladimir Nabokov book (and its movie versions) of the same name.

Gomez is no stranger to controversy. She starred in the raunchy 2013 comedy "Spring Breakers" when she was just 19, and had a much publicized relationship with the much-maligned Justin Bieber that started the year before.

In the upcoming issue of V Magazine, Selena Gomez goes into detail about her intense romantic relationship with Justin Bieber, false king of the Seven Kingdoms. "I think the next time [I have a boyfriend] will be much different," she says.

"I was 18 years old, and it was my first love. The older I get, I'm guarding certain things more...When you're young and you're being told so many different things...It almost felt like all we had was each other, like the world was against us, in a way. It was really weird but it was incredible...I would never take it back in a million years. You live and you learn, you know?"

But she's not looking back. "I think this year is going to be incredible," she said. "I feel the best I've ever felt in my life." I'm super stoked that I've got some bumps on me, some scars, some bruises. I actually really love that. And I don't mean that in a morbid way."

Taylor Swift Makes Up With Kanye West

Taylor Swift is ready to shake it off: The singer was seen chatting and posing for photos with Kanye West at the Grammys Sunday night. As absolutely everyone is aware, the two have not exactly been best buds ever since the infamous 2009 VMA incident when West "Imma let you finish'd" her acceptance speech.

In a weird bit of timing, the two publicly buried the hatchet (or at least agreed to some smiling photos) the very night that Kayne once again stormed the stage because of a perceived slight against Beyonce.

But while Kanye was busy continuing to Be Kanye the rest of the evening, Swift was busy also making up with Diplo, per Diplo's below Instagram, who has said some not-so-kind stuff about her in the past.

If only there was a Grammy for letting things go, Swift would have it locked up.

Super Bowl Katy Perry Performance

In case you missed the lawless, burning-disco-atop-Big-Rock-Candy-Mountain bonanza that was Katy Perry's Super Bowl XLIX halftime show.

The following is a cold, clinical and completely non-objective rundown of Perry's show, which sprung from humble beginnings in the form of Katy Perry riding a giant lion-golem across the field.

Then Perry transitioned to a chess board of razor-edged automatons, because stone-faced chess people are "in" right now.

From there, Perry transitioned back to the beach, singing sharks and caroling fauna.

After this came Missy Elliot, who bum-rushed the stage and taught Perry some things about owning the Dance Dance Revolution floor. I can't decide if "Work It" or "Lose Control"  was the highlight of Elliot's set.

Perry's coup de grace was "Firework," which she sang from atop a flying "The More You Know" star.

Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Rihanna Team Up for 'FourFiveSeconds'

Contrary to reports, Paul McCartney did not co-produce all of Kanye West's new album, reps for McCartney and West tell Rolling Stone.

Three weeks after Paul McCartney and Kanye West released their surprise collaboration "Only One," the duo have linked up with Rihanna for the soft, acoustic track "FourFiveSeconds." The song is available at RihannaNow.com.

"I think I've had enough," sings Rihanna over the percussion-less, acoustic guitar-driven track. "I might get a little drunk / I say what's on my mind / I might do a little time / 'Cause all of my kindness is taken for weakness." West takes over on vocals, crooning, "Woke up an optimist/ Sun was shining, I'm positive/ Then I heard you was talkin' trash / Hold me back, I'm bout to spaz." West and Rihanna handle all of the song's vocals, duetting on the chorus with McCartney providing keyboards on the song.

Two days after "Only One" was released, rapper Ty Dolla $ign stoked anticipation for the track, stating that the then-unnamed song was "gonna drop soon." It's unclear if "FourFiveSeconds" will appear on an album by any of the artists, though Ty Dolla $ign told Billboard earlier this month that the song would likely appear on West's upcoming album.

West previewed "FourFiveSeconds" at the IHeartRadio Summit music industry event in Los Angeles on Thursday, where the rapper surprised the audience with a 45-minute, stream-of-consciousness speech about his "responsibility to innovate." West played "FourFiveSeconds" straight off his computer, promptly slamming his laptop shut and walking offstage before announcing the song's release date.

Fans of West shouldn't be too surprised to hear McCartney on another of his tracks. When "Only One" was released, a spokesperson for the rapper said that the song would be the first "publicly available recording from what has become a prolific musical collaboration between these two legendary artists."

McCartney and West began work on "Only One" earlier last year in Los Angeles, starting with, as the statement notes, "a simple brainstorming session between the two, with McCartney improvising on the keyboards and Kanye vocally sketching and shaping ideas in a stream-of-consciousness riff." It's unclear if "FourFiveSeconds," with its similar mellow vibe, was also a result of these sessions.

Justin Bieber Getting Comedy Central Roast

Justin Bieber will be roasted in an upcoming special scheduled to air on Comedy Central on March 7th, Us Weekly reports.

The 20-year-old singer has reportedly wanted to be the butt of the joke for years, according to a source at Comedy Central, who told Ryan Seacrest's website: "Justin has been asking us for years to roast him, so we kept telling him to create some more material and we’re thrilled he listened."

As far as targets go, Bieber's an easy one. The singer's antics have made for plenty of comedic fodder over the years, and just this past weekend his ridiculous Calvin Klein ad campaign was parodied throughout Saturday Night Live. Donning a pair of tiny tighty whities, Kate McKinnon offered up an outrageous impersonation of the singer, mugging for the camera one instant then running around, yelling and trying to pants Cecily Strong the next. Luckily, Bieber's got a sense of humor, tweeting afterwards, "@nbcsnl well played. Lol."

The comedians taking part in the Bieber roast will be able to cull material from any number of Bieber-related incidents: From the underage drinking and drag racing to egging his neighbor's house and peeing in a restaurant mop bucket. The monkey he abandoned in Germany will also presumably come up several times. For a primer on the "Baby" singer's history of bad behavior, check out Rolling Stone's cover story from last year on Bieber's out-of-control lifestyle.

Bieber's Comedy Central roast will be the network's first burn-fest since the 2013 roast of James Franco. Other celebrities that have gotten their own special in recent years include Roseanne Barr, Charlie Sheen, Donald Trump, Joan Rivers and Bob Saget.

Justin Bieber Hides Behind MTV Trophies!

On Wednesday (Jan14) Justin Bieber stepped out in Beverly Hills brandishing two of his gongs while out and about.

He wore a large hoodie tight over his face as he appeared to try and hide behind his giant trophies while leaving a recording studio.

Apparently he has won 13 MTV awards over the years.

Taylor Swift Turns the Golden Globes into a Star-Studded Girls' Night Out

Leave it to Taylor Swift to turn the Golden Globes into an amazing girls' night out.

The "Blank Space" singer, 25, arrived at the The Weinstein Company and Netflix's post-show celebration (sponsored by Fiji Water and Meiomi Wine) flanked by her celebrated best friends Golden Globe nominee Lorde and Este, Danielle and Alana Haim of the band Haim.

The group of talented ladies were soon joined by actress Jaime King, after which all of them settled in to snack on Fatburger burger, gossip and bop along to the music.

It didn't take long for Swift, dressed in a vibrant yellow gown, to spot another celebrity buddy, party host Harvey Weinstein, among the crowd. After spying Weinstein, 62, the performer eagerly waved him over so she could give the film producer a big hug and introduce him to her crew of ladies.

Nicole Scherzinger Admits Her Weight "Fluctuates," Says Working Out Is "Like Pulling Teeth"

Nicole Scherzinger has one of the best bodies in Hollywood — but it doesn’t come easy! The former Pussycat Dolls singer admitted to Cosmopolitan Body magazine that when it comes to working out these days, it’s like “pulling teeth.”

"Exercise changes everything about how I approach my day and helps me go about life with confidence — that's the main reason I do it. It gives me clarity and makes me feel stronger,” the 36-year-old singer, who stuns on the cover in workout clothes, told the mag. "It's not so much for the physical and vanity side of it. I do it more for the emotional and mental strength it gives me.”

That said, the fit brunette, who has been vocal in the past about battling an eating disorder, isn’t always excited to hit the gym.

"I'm like any woman, my weight fluctuates up and down. I have good days and bad days," she confessed. “For many years I worked out every single day, but now I'm in my thirties [and] it's like pulling teeth. I gotta make myself work out — you need to find that balance."

"Healthy for me means a healthy mind, that everything else becomes aligned — the mental, physical, spiritual…everything,” Lewis Hamilton's longtime girlfriend, who is currently starring as Grizabella in Cats in London, added. “Being happy means having balance, being creative and finding peace."

Justin Bieber Enjoys High-Flying Christmas with New Private Jet

The 20-year-old pop star will be flying high in the new year after getting his very own luxurious private jet, which he shared with fans in an Instagram post on Christmas night.

"New jet for Christmas. And she's beautiful," said Bieber, who posted a photo of himself inside of his new wings, which include luxe cream leather seats and a shiny dark-paneled interior.

The pricey private plane, likely a Gulfstream G6 costing $60 million, TMZ estimated, is a decadent treat for the "super single" entertainer, who in November, topped Forbes's 2014 list of the highest-earning celebrities under 30.

Bieber reportedly made roughly $80 million over the past year, the magazine said, outpacing Brit band One Direction, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

Madonna comments on album leak

“Thank you for not listening!” she wrote on her Instagram Wednesday. “Thank you for your loyalty!”

Although Madonna hasn’t been forthcoming with details about the album, she has confirmed she’s working on one. She further elaborated on the leak in her Instagram caption, where she clarified the songs released were not final cuts.

“Thank you for waiting,” she said, “and if you have heard please know they are unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world.”

Demi: I Almost Went Back to Rehab for Eating Disorder

Demi Lovato is stronger than ever following her 2010 three-month rehab stint for "emotional and physical issues," but getting there hasn't been easy. The "Really Don't Care" singer reveals in a new interview that she almost went back to a facility in 2013 for more treatment.

"It's been difficult. I almost went back to rehab for my eating disorder last summer. I was obsessing over food and terrified of it at the same time. Wilmer Valderrama, her boyfriend noticed and called me out on it, which was a relief," Lovato, 22, tells Fitness magazine. "I was done being afraid of food and so tired of overeating and not knowing why I did it. Now I'm on a structured meal plan. I eat four small meals and two snacks a day. It's teaching me portion control."

"It helps to remind myself how far I've come. I recently saw pictures from my first tour, and I spent that whole summer performing in the heat in a red leather jacket because I was ashamed to show my arms. And that was when I was 105 pounds!" she tells the mag.

"This tour, I've had the confidence to show my arms at every single concert. It may seem like a small thing, but for me, that's huge." While touring, Lovato has kept up with healthy eating habits and exercise.

"My energy and endurance have gone way up," she adds. "I feel so much stronger, and I'm much healthier. Normally I'd get the flu, but this tour I've had only a small sinus infection—knock on wood."

Lovato admits she still thinks she has problem areas ("thick thighs"), but acknowledges now that every woman does. To keep upbeat and positive, she lives by one life motto: "If Beyonce can do it, I can do it."

Justin Bieber Dyes His Hair Bright Blonde

Justin Bieber's decided to switch things up ahead of the new year — the "Boyfriend" singer dyed his brown hair bright blonde on Thursday, Dec. 4.

A source tells Us Weekly the 20-year-old singer got his dye job done at Nine Zero One salon in Los Angeles. The insider adds the star hasn't dyed his hair in years — not since he was "like 11 or 12."

The Biebs teased fans on Twitter, writing along with a link to his Fahlo account: "Left something for you on my @OfficialFahlo #blondebieber :) http://fahlo.me/justinbieber."
On his Fahlo account (a new Instagram-like app) Bieber debuted his new look with — naturally — a shirtless selfie captioned simply: "#BlondeBieber."

Rihanna Is Bored of Her Long Hair

From front row at fashion shows to tropical locales, Rihanna has been sporting the same long curly locks for a while now — which is surprising for the star who used to rock a hair change a week. And, she confesses, that unlike chains and whips her long hair doesn’t really excite her.

“I miss my short hair,” the singer said at the M.A.C Cosmetics premiere of It’s Not Over in L.A. on Tuesday night. “Right now the inspiration behind the long hair is being completely bored. I don’t feel like its necessary to do something new or dope, I’m just in the studio.”

Though the didn’t go into detail about why she was spending so much time in the studio and has remained mum on details of her upcoming album [rumored to drop later this year] she hinted that a new hairdo might be on the horizon. When asked what her favorite hairstyle was, she laughed before summing it up in one word: “Short!”

One Direction Dominates Trending 140 with New Song ‘Fool’s Gold’

Billboard: Over the past 24 hours, no song has ruled the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 Chart quite like “Fool’s Gold,” the latest released track from One Direction’s fourth studio album, Four. The pensive ballad follows tracks like “18,” “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” and “Ready to Run” as released tracks from the Nov. 17, along with lead single “Steal My Girl.”

“And yeah, I let you use me from the day that we first met,” the boys admit over the slickly produced rock arrangement, which is peppered with chiming guitar riffs. With each new song released from Four, One Direction further establishes Four as a rock project designed for maximum stadium sing-alongs.

After dropping to No. 34 on last week’s Hot 100 chart, “Steal My Girl” rebounds to No. 32 on this week’s tally. The single is the only Four song officially available on Spotify and YouTube, while five other songs on the album are currently available on iTunes.

The Secret Behind Carrie Underwood's CMA Awards Glow

Carrie Underwood‘s skin looked even more flawless than usual at Wednesday’s CMA Awards. Yes, she has that whole mom-to-be glow thing happening, but there’s another reason behind her perfect complexion. How do we know? Her makeup artist told us all about it.

“I added a little coconut oil to her skin at the very end to give her that extra glow,” Melissa Schleicher told PEOPLE. “Seriously, just a dot. The tiniest bit ever.”

As for the rest of the Almay spokeswoman’s look, Schleicher used the brand’s Smart Shade CC luminous primer and skin tone-matching makeup (in light/medium), plus a mix of two Almay Smart Shade blushes in pink and nude. On the eyes, she went for a soft smokey look (courtesy of the line’s Intense i-Color kit for hazel eyes) and some liquid eyeliner. To complete her red carpet moment? A swipe of Almay’s new Smart Shade Butter Kiss Lipstick in pink-light, hitting stores in December.

“Carrie is so easy. We don’t plan anything out,” she shared. “When we get there the night of we just look at it. She just goes with the flow. We wanted something very classic and timeless.”

Schleicher was backstage for the award show, helping Underwood during her 11 outfit changes.

“The most time we ever had to change is 14 minutes for clothes, shoes, hair and makeup,” she shared. “We only had six minutes to get her ready for her performance, which was kind of nerve wracking.”

Her favorite look of the night? “I loved the red dress when she came out matchy-matchy with the red lip and her hair half up.” (We loved that too — as it’s rare to see the star in a red lip!)

For those who want to try Underwood’s bold pout at home (the shade is Almay’s “Apple a Day”), you might want to follow this pro tip. “I put foundation on her lips first,” Schleicher says. “I cover the lips with a little bit of foundation and try to put on the color as perfect as I can. Sometimes red scares me.”

The makeup maven also has a tip for long-lasting eye color. “I wet any shadow that has shimmer to it and that intensifies the color. Just add a little water. It will make it last all night.”

And if you happened to notice Underwood’s hair was a bit blonder last night, you’re right.

“We did go a little lighter on her hair,” Schleicher said. “We were going in the darker, ombré direction for a while, but we brightened it up for last night. She looked like a ray of sunshine.”

Alicia Keys: Egypt Is ‘Excited to Be a Big Brother’

Alicia Keys is just two months away from giving birth to her second child — and no one’s more psyched than her 4-year-old son Egypt Daoud.

“He is excited to be a big brother,” the singer told PEOPLE at Keep a Child Alive‘s Black Ball at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Thursday night.

“I think he’s super excited because he’s not going to be the youngest anymore,” she shares. “He’s always kissing my belly.”
The 33-year-old, whose second child is due Dec. 31, went on to say that having children has inspired her to work harder for social justice.

“Being a mother has definitely furthered my passion for Keep a Child Alive and just talking about issues in the world overall,” she explains.

“My husband [rapper Swizz Beatz] tells me, ‘You should go lay down,’ ” she says with a laugh. “But I can’t. I’m inspired!”

Nicole Scherzinger Says Her New Album Helped with Her Self-Esteem Issues

After an eight-year battle with bulimia, Nicole Scherzinger has found some relief in her music.

The former X Factor judge, 36, says that writing her new album Big Fat Lie was like "therapy."

"It's a very personal album to me," she told the Evening Standard. "It's a transitional album, and it's very honest and authentic."

Scherzinger also opened up about her eating disorder, which she first revealed in a candid 2012 interview. For eight years, the singer said she felt like "I wasn't enough, that I wasn't pretty, that I was fat, and that I wasn't worthy of more."

But that was then. "I'm in a different place in my life now," she says. "I feel a bit more confident and comfortable in my own skin to be able to talk about things that I hadn’t talked about before."

The former Pussycat Doll hopes people can relate to the honesty on her album, to be released in 2015.

“It feels good to be truthful, because not everyone’s perfect," she says.

Nonetheless, she notes, "Everyone always has these pre-conceived notions that you're glamorous, you don't have any problems, you don't have any issues, and we all battle with our own issues."

Swift: My Friends Are the 'Most Important Thing to Me'

Taylor Swift gets by with more than a little help from her friends. The singer, 24, counts Girls star and author Lena Dunham, singer Lorde and actress Jaime King among her inner circle.

The creative, close-knit group is "the most important thing to me right now," Swift tells PEOPLE in this week's 40th anniversary cover story.

"They are trustworthy and know me and like me for who I actually am," says Swift, whose new album, 1989, drops Oct. 27. (Pre-order it here).

An avid hostess, Swift gathered some of her best friends – including Emma Stone, King, Dunham and Jessica Szohr – for a fun-filled 4t of July get-together in Rhode Island this summer.

"We made a giant slip-and-slide in the yard, we were running around the beach, jumping into the pool, cooked a giant dinner and played games," says the Grammy winner.

"Everybody in the group was so happy. Seeing your friends all together, and seeing your friends bond and everyone smiling and laughing together was the coolest thing I could have expected of that trip."

Beyonce Debuts New Bangs

Beyonce new bangs at Global Citizen Festival Concert A La 2006 Deja Vu Music Video

Beyonce joined her husband Jay Z on stage for a surprise performance at the Global Citizen Festival concert, held in New York City’s Central Park on Saturday, Sept. 27, and with her came new — or shall we say, semi-new — bangs.

Dressed in a low-cut cream colored Dolce & Gabbana top with black high-waisted trousers, the hairstyle brought back strong memories of Queen Bey from another time.

Back in 2006, a 25-year-old Beyonce managed to shred her coy image with a sexy music video for "Deja Vu," off her second album, B’Day. Much like her recent performance in New York City, the video featured the star dancing around in a tight-fitting lace dress with a heart-shaped bodice, performing for her then-future husband and collaborator, with her full bangs bouncing with every turn.

Katy Perry Slams Unnamed Mean Girl After Talk of Taylor Swift Feud

Paging Taylor Swift? In the early hours of Tuesday, Sept. 9, Katy Perry took to Twitter to warn her 56.7 million followers of an unnamed mean girl — less than 24 hours after fresh speculation began of a supposed feud between Perry and Swift.

"Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing…" Perry, 29, tweeted without context on Tuesday, referencing the lead character and ultimate mean girl, played by Rachel McAdams, who faced off against Cady Heron, played by Lindsay Lohan, in the hit 2004 comedy Mean Girls.

The cryptic words followed widespread chatter that there is tension between the "This Is How We Do" performer and Swift, 24.

The drama started when the "Shake It Off" singer gave a revealing cover story interview for the new issue of Rolling Stone, and at one point during the sit-down, spoke tantalizingly of issues she has with another famous female artist.

Said artist is the subject of a song called "Bad Blood," which is featured on Swift's upcoming album, 1989. Explaining the song's inspiration, she told Rolling Stone, "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'…

She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational — you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

While Swift mentioned that the feud wasn't about a boy, she and Perry both famously dated John Mayer, and Rolling Stone notes that when "pressed," Swift said there was a personal aspect to the drama, "but I don't think there would be any personal problem if she weren't competitive." Both chart-topping women were also on tour beginning in February 2011, with Perry wrapping in January 2012 and Swift in March 2012.

For her part, Swift chose not to offer further clues as to the inspiration for "Bad Blood." Other artists whose names have been included in the talk include Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato. In an online watercooler poll at Us Weekly, 70 percent of more than 8,500 readers who voted guessed the song was about Cyrus.

Britney Spears Confirms "My Boyfriend Cheated on Me," Addresses Rumor During Las Vegas Concert

She's not holding back! Britney Spears publicly addressed the widespread rumors that her now-ex-boyfriend David Lucado cheated on her this past weekend, confirming the talk while on stage in concert for her Piece of Me Las Vegas residency.

Dressed in a sexy black one-piece outfit, Spears spoke to her fans, shouting from the stage, "Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me."

Spears, 32, split from her boyfriend of 17 months last week after video reportedly surfaced of Lucado kissing another woman. While she had confirmed that she was no longer with Lucado, tweeting "Ahhh the single life," Spears hadn't spoken about her ex's alleged infidelity.

Despite the dissolution of her relationship, the "Perfume" singer seems to be in good spirits. Before she mentioned during the show that she needs her girls and is on the hunt for a "really hot guy," Spears highlighted the silver lining of her situation.

"The best thing about your boyfriend cheating on you is that you get to go on another first date!" she said during the Las Vegas show on Sunday, Aug. 31. "O-M-G a first date!"

The Grammy winner will be keeping busy in the coming months with the continuation of her residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. The gig was recently extended through 2015.

Iggy Azalea Falls Off Stage During MTV VMA Benefit Concert

Iggy Azalea has tumbled off the stage during an MTV Video Music Awards benefit concert.

There is no immediate word if the Australian rapper was injured.

Azalea fell off the stage Friday night while performing her hit "Fancy" at The Avalon in Los Angeles. Security guards quickly pulled Azalea back onto the stage, and she barely missed a beat as Charli XCX joined her for the chart-topping single.

Afterward Azalea told the crowd she felt "very blessed" that she did not break her legs.

She appeared unharmed and in good spirits, even posting a video of the fall on Instagram. Azalea wrote in the caption: "I know I laughed."

Neither Azalea's representatives nor MTV immediately responded to emails seeking comment.

Azalea is up for seven awards at the VMAs airing live on Aug. 24.

Miley Cyrus Concert Banned in the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic government commission that oversees public performances is banning a Sept. 13 concert by Miley Cyrus on morality grounds.

The commission said in a statement Thursday that it took the action because Cyrus often "undertakes acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by Dominican law."

Tickets ranging from $27 to $370 for the concert in the capital have been on sale since July.

Some critics have declared Cyrus's onstage antics, including twerking and crotch-grabbing, as vulgar.

A representative for Cyrus did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Concert organizers in the Dominican Republic did not comment on the ban.

The commission in the past has banned songs it considers vulgar from the airwaves, including some by Calle 13 of Puerto Rico.

Justin Bieber Shaves His Tiny Mustache

Justin Bieber Shaves His Tiny Mustache and of course, he didn’t do it alone or in private.

Bieber recorded the whole process for the world to see while pal Lil Za cheered him on.

Clad in a Buffalo plaid sleeveless shirt and sporting his signature swoop of hair, Bieber brands his razor, leans into the camera to whisper “R.I.P. ‘Stache” (warning: may haunt your nightmares) and finally lathers up to remove his tiny strip of upper-lip hair. Here’s the Instagram for your viewing “pleasure.

“Ur boy got rid of his stash,” Bieber captioned his follow-up photo, displaying the baby face that propelled him to fame.

Immediate fan reaction seemed to be relieved and enthusiastic. “THANK YOU SO MUCH JUSTIN THANK YOU THANK YOU,” wrote one Instagram commenter. “Omg omg omg, PERFECT BABY,” wrote another.

Katy Perry: "I Could Really Use" a Better Education

Katy Perry has had plenty of experience in the school of life, but actual school is another story. In a recent interview with Yahoo to promote her "Make Roar Happen" classroom initiative with Staples, the "This Is How We Do" singer admitted she wishes she had a better education growing up.

"I was being pulled out of school even in the middle of school and sometimes being homeschooled," Perry recalled of her experience. Sometimes we were sent to these really half-Christian, half-education, I-don't-know-what-they-were schools."

The "Roar" songstress later dropped out of high school and earned her GED so she could pursue a career in music. Her efforts clearly paid off — but she still thinks about the road not taken. "I'm kind of bummed at this stage that I didn't have a great education because I could really use that these days," she told Yahoo.

She's still committed to learning, though. As an international pop star, she's lucky enough to travel all over the world, a privilege she uses to teach herself about other cultures.

"I've learned to educate myself at this stage and how to continue my education at any age," she explained. "I'm going on 30 and I'm still very thirsty for information. On tour, we go to different museums and get to soak up all kinds of different cultural experiences."

Iggy Azalea Set to Cameo in Fast and Furious 7, Vin Diesel Reveals

She's so fancy, she already landed a movie role. Iggy Azalea will appear in the upcoming Fast & Furious 7, Vin Diesel revealed this week.

The Fast & Furious franchise star, 47, was speaking to France's Skyrock FM about the highly anticipated action flick, when he let slip that the "Fancy" rapper would be featured in the movie.

"Iggy Azalea, I just worked with her two weeks ago," Diesel spilled to the French journalist. "I guess you're the first person that knows this."

"We casted her in Fast and Furious 7," the actor continued. "She has a cameo in Fast and Furious 7."

Azalea, 24, has yet to comment on the role. She joins a cast that already includes Diesel, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and Jason Statham.

Rodriguez teased the Australian rapper's involvement earlier this month via Twitter. She shared a photo of herself with Azalea, captioning the shot, "Azealia nice workin with you, love to see you in concert. Respect yesterday's set was so hot in the desert, You Rock."

The late Paul Walker is also featured in the film, as he had shot scenes for Fast 7 before his untimely death in November 2013. His brothers, Caleb and Cody Walker, are appearing in the movie in his honor.

The role that Azalea will play in Fast & Furious 7 has yet to be revealed. Other rappers who have been featured in the Fast movies before include Ludacris, Ja Rule, and Bow Wow.

Lopez 'Danced All Night Long' at 45th Birthday Bash

Though Jennifer Lopez never seems to age, she sure knows how to throw a fabulous 45th birthday party.

After a day of preparing and pampering, the superstar singer was ready to party.

Dressed in a white bustier crop top that showed off her perfectly-toned abs, she arrived with best friend Leah Remini for a bash at Nammos, a Mediterranean restaurant in Southampton, New York, Thursday night just as DJ Cipha Down was spinning "Jenny from the Block."

"She was so happy and she stayed till 4 a.m.," a source tells PEOPLE. "They had a dinner party and there was champagne, and she danced all night long. Everybody was dancing."

The guest list of about 60 people, according to the source, included Khloé Kardashian and her boyfriend French Montana, Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Brian Atwood, Fat Joe, Russell Simmons, Andy Cohen, Scott Disick and Lopez's mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, her sister, Lynda, and her longtime manager, Benny Medina, who gave a heartfelt speech about the singer during the dinner at the restaurant, which was decorated in shades of blue.

"Turnt up in the Hamptons happy b-day to the queen," French Montana wrote in an Instagram post of him and Lopez at the party.

Shakira Is Officially the Most Popular Person on Facebook

It's official: Shakira is the most likable woman in the world.

On Friday, the Grammy-winning Colombian singer became the first person ever to reach 100 million likes on Facebook.

"I am honored and humbled about reaching this milestone," Shakira, 37, said. "Social media and specifically Facebook has helped myself and other artists bridge the gap between the stage and the audience."

Even Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is impressed. "Congrats!" he wrote in a comment on the singer's page. "What an amazing milestone for an amazing person."

In honor of her achievement, the artist and activist posted a retrospective video of her notable Facebook moments throughout the years (which include her charity work, album covers, a baby bump photo and cute snapshots of her son, Milan, 18 months), as well as a video thanking her fans for their support.

Stewart, Hathaway, Larson Dress in Drag For Jenny Lewis' "Just One of the Guys" Music Video

There are several familiar faces in Jenny Lewis’ new music video for “Just One of the Guys,” but they don’t normally have mustaches. Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart, and Brie Larson are all prominently featured in the clip, dancing and playing musical instruments behind Lewis before changing into drag.

The Twilight lead, 24, looks like the ultimate bro in a Bieber-esque shaggy hairstyle, while Oscar winner Hathaway, 31, goes for a greasier look — rattail and all. Larson’s blonde 'stache and comical facial expressions complete the package. Drummer Tennessee Thomas keeps a low profile in the back of most shots, but has a fun cameo at the end.

Lewis' faded rainbow suits stand out more than her drag look against her red hair and thick bangs. The mellow crooner and former child actress, 38, muses about being a woman while trying to be “one of the guys,” as her star-studded posse dance and lip-synch behind her. At one point, Hathaway — dressed in drag — is reduced to award-worthy tears.

The Rilo Kiley frontwoman is preparing to release her first solo album in six years, The Voyager, which comes out on July 29.

Shakira Looks Hot In Red For World Cup Final

Shakira is no stranger to the World Cup! The Colombian singer, who has made three World Cup appearances, gave a fiery closing ceremony performance prior to the final 2014 FIFA World Cup match between Argentina and Germany.

Soccer and the World Cup have a special place in Shakira‘s heart, since it gave her the two greatest gifts she could ever ask for. While promoting her 2010 World Cup anthem “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” she met her boyfriend, FC Barcelona center back and Spain national team defender Gerard Pique.

With whom she would give birth to their 18-month-old son, Milan. Four years later, with Gerard and Milan proudly watching on the sidelines of the Brazil arena, Shakira reclaimed her title as the World Cup songstress while performing “La La La” at the closing ceremony in a sparkling red get-up that left everyone stunned.

Shakira’s World Cup Performance Dress Sizzles On Stage and gave a blowout, electrifying performance at the 2014 Brazil World Cup Closing Ceremony, but she couldn’t have done it without the magical construction and delicate embroidery of up-and-coming designer Charbel Zoe , who also designed Jennifer Lopez‘s opening ceremony look.

Shakira wore a Charbel Zoe custom made fiery-red piece featuring an embroidered bodice and feathered skirt. She completed the smoldering look with matching feather flats, which allowed her to truly rock the stage with her exhilarating dance moves.

Lea Michele Not Pregnant: Glee Star's Twitter Hacked One Day After Chris Colfer's

Someone's got it out for the Glee cast. Like Chris Colfer before her, Lea Michele was the victim of a Twitter hacking on Friday, July 4. On the morning of Independence Day, a tweet was posted to Michele's account revealing her (fake) pregnancy.

"Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant," the tweet read. It was hashtagged "#BabyBoy."

A rep for the Glee star—who is currently dating lifestyle coach Matthew Paetz—confirmed to Us that she had been hacked. And Michele herself set the record straight on Twitter, first deleting the offending tweet and then joking about it in a follow-up message.

"I was HACKED!" the 27-year-old "If You Say So" singer wrote. "Guess @chriscolfer and I should have known better than to make our passwords the names of our cats."

Colfer, 24, made headlines one day earlier, on Thursday, July 3, when he appeared to announce that he had been fired from Glee. "Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE," a tweet on his account read. "Explanations will come shortly..."

The explanation, it turned out, was that someone had hijacked his account. Colfer was actually on an airplane when all the action went down, and only found out about the excitement upon landing. "Apparently I missed quite the INTERESTING day while aboard my flight," he quipped. "I'm just glad I wasn't 'killed by a fruit truck' again."

Nicole Scherzinger Calls Bulimia Struggle 'Such a Dark Time for Me'

Nicole Scherzinger looked practically purr-fect onstage with the Pussycat Dolls while in her 20s.

Yet once the lights dimmed, the singer and former X Factor judge says, she went to unhealthy measures to stay slim, battling bulimia for eight years before finally getting help.

"I had such a great life on the outside, the Dolls were on top of the world, but I was miserable on the inside," she reveals in the August issue of Cosmopolitan magazine in the U.K. "I’m never letting that happen again."

Scherzinger, 36, went public with her bulimia struggle in 2012 and admits talking about her long-secret eating disorder is still difficult.

"It is such a horrible, paralyzing disease and it was such a dark time for me," she says. "I didn't think anyone knew in my group or in my family because I hid it that well, I was so ashamed. I knew it wasn't normal or healthy because I was hurting myself through this cycle of disordered eating. It was my drug, my addiction. It's an endless vicious cycle."

She says it took blacking out while on tour to finally wake up to her problem.

"I had started losing my voice, I couldn't sing at shows, and then I remember my manager finding me passed out on the floor in Malta or in the south of France," she recalls. "I thought, 'I'm going to lose everything I love if I don't love myself.' "

Today, Scherzinger is healthy, but admits that despite her outgoing public persona, deep down she is a shy person.

"I get past my shyness by making everything about others and not thinking about myself," she says. "That's what I did on The X Factor – I can be goofy and playful when it's about the acts. They are like my babies. But when I'm off stage I'm not as big and animated ... for me all my smiles and confidence are a triumph because it came from a broken place."

Another thing that makes her smile? Her seemingly on-again relationship with British Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton.

"Well, it's something crazy romantic," she says. "Relationships are hard and having to hold a long-distance relationship is even harder ... But I'm good and I'm happy."

Jennifer Lopez Flirts with Maksim Chmerkovskiy

The singer, 44, who just finalized her divorce from Marc Anthony, was seen getting cozy with Dancing with the Stars's Maksim Chmerkovskiy at Shrine nightclub at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut after her performance at the resort on Saturday, PEOPLE has confirmed.

"He went to see her perform, and then they went to Shrine after. They were flirting. They were dancing very close. I don't know if they kissed. They had a lot of fun together," says a source.

But the pair parted ways after their fun evening together – Chmerkovskiy left the club alone, according to the source.

The pair have denied dating rumors, and the DWTS winner Tweeted a message suggesting he didn't appreciate the media frenzy that ensued when news leaked that he and Lopez may be dating.

"I've got 4 words for everyone: LIVE AND LET LIVE! NAMASTE Y'ALL," he wrote.

Lopez and Chmerkovskiy met through mutual friends Leah Remini and her DWTS partner Tony Dovolani.

"They are friends and have been talking," a source told PEOPLE earlier this month.

Lopez Tells Wendy Williams: "I've Been Single For a Couple of Months"

With the release of her eighth studio album A.K.A., Jennifer Lopez has been basking in the spotlight.

Earlier this month, Us Weekly confirmed that the "First Love" singer had split from her boyfriend of two-and-a-half years, Casper Smart, but in a new interview on The Wendy Williams show, she revealed the actual breakup went down a while ago.

The blunt host asked Lopez outright if she was single, meaning "not intimate with anybody at this time."

"Yes, I've been single for a couple of months," Lopez replied.

When it comes to having a type, the mother of twins Emme and Max claimed she doesn't have one.

"I don't look at the outside so much," she said. "I'm not an outside-cover person, I am more of, like, an essence person."

How is Marc Anthony's ex-wife recovering from her recent split?

"I'm a big soul searcher, and I read a lot of self-help books," she said. "I am always kinda searching for answers. I'll randomly just open a Bible looking for answers and guidance."

Miley Cyrus Disses Selena Gomez, Holds Cardboard Cutout Onstage While Singing "FU"

Miley Cyrus dissed fellow Disney Channel alum Selena Gomez onstage during her Bangerz World Tour stop in Milan, Italy, on Sunday, June 8. Videos of Cyrus, holding up a cardboard cutout of Gomez while singing the song "FU," have made their way online, and it looks like the prelude to a celebrity feud.

In the clip, Cyrus, 21, wears a canary dress as she sashays around the stage with cardboard Selena under her arm. The cut-out features a smiling Gomez, 21, wearing a skimpy black bikini.

Cyrus passionately sings the lyrics of her angry song, which seemed more aimed at a spurned ex-lover than a former pal: "Why, why you're doing what you do. You, you might as well just tell the honest truth," she croons.

"See, I'm not really down with this. This ain't no texting s---. Know I got no biz, but it is what it is," she continues, before flinging the cardboard into the crowd. She then turns to a giant furry creature and sings to it.

Though it remains unclear what the Cyrus-Gomez beef might be, the tweaking pop star has a good rapport with Gomez's ex, Justin Bieber.

Both Cyrus and Gomez performed together back in 2008 at the Teen Choice Awards when Cyrus starred as Hannah Montana on the eponymous smash series. Gomez, during that time, starred on Wizards of Waverly Place, in addition to multiple Disney Channel original movies.

In 2007, she guest-starred on Cyrus' show, and ironically, played Hannah's rival on a three-episode arc. Gomez, who has yet to comment on the cardboard cutout incident, told Us Weekly last August that she found Cyrus' raunchy MTV VMAs performance "amazing" and "awesome."

Jennifer Lopez Calls Her Steamy New Music Video 'Sweet and Sexy'

Jennifer Lopez has had some colorful music videos in the past, but this time the singer chose to go with black and white for her new video, "First Love."

"We talked a lot about whether we would do a little bit of color or pops of color," Lopez tells PEOPLE of discussing the video with director Anthony Mandler. "But Anthony felt strongly that it be all in black and white."

In the sensual video, Lopez, 44, continues to look half her age in an American Apparel bodysuit, a revealing black swimsuit by Issa De'mar and other curve-hugging outfits as she gets up close and personal with a chiseled hunk.

"It's a sweet and sexy video, I think," the singer says. "It definitely captures the feeling of the song."

Lopez will release her new album A.K.A. on June 17.

Bella Plays Dancing Waitress in New "Call It Whatever" Music Video

Bella Thorne premiered the music video for her catchy single "Call It Whatever," on Thursday, May 29.

The clip features the 16-year-old Disney star as a uniform-clad waitress in a '50s-themed diner. Serving up dance moves, the Shake It Up star flirts with a crush as she sings, "Our love needs no name, We got a thing we can’t explain/Don’t care what people say/Let’s call it whatever whatever."

"Call It Whatever" is the lead single from her upcoming debut album of the same name, coming out next month.

With her acting career in full swing as well, Thorne can also be seen on the big screen alongside Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in Blended.

Jennifer Lopez's Many Billboard Music Awards 2014

While most attendees to the Billboard Music Awards on May 18 wore just one (maybe two) outfits, Jennifer Lopez —naturally!—kicked it up multiple notches with five different looks.

As the evening's recipient of the Icon Award, the "I Luh Ya Papi" pulled out all of the style stops in sexy, dazzling ensembles, which highlighted her famous curves.

For her show-opening performance of "Ole Ola" with Pitbull and Claudia Leitte, Lopez, 44, dazzled in a gold tasseled bodysuit and sequined ankle booties.

On the red carpet, the American Idol judge rocked a scarlet red chiffon gown by Donna Karan that called to mind her iconic, revealing Versace gown from the 2000 Grammys. The long-sleeved number featured a plunging neckline and high side slits. Lopez then changed into a more demure fitted white dress by Sen Couture with nude ankle-strap heels for the press room.

During the presentation of the Icon Award, Lopez performed "First Love" in a sequined black bodysuit with an illusion panel on the side. To accept the award, the mom of 6-year-old twins, Emme and Max, added a metallic gold skirt over the one-shouldered jumpsuit.

Katy Perry Vomits Paints on Prismatic Tour

Last week, Katy Perry opened the Prismatic Tour and Lady Gaga accused her of biting her style. Now, more footage has surfaced that seems primed to get the singers battling again.

This time the subject matter is deeper than hair and horses, as Perry appears to have mimicked the vomiting routine that threw Gaga into a storm of controversy during this year's South By Southwest. Watch the footage below as Perry puts her finger to her lips and spews multi-colored liquid from her mouth.

Thankfully, the routine was pre-taped and displayed on screen rather than being acted out live. And Perry isn't exactly vomiting -- more accurately, she's letting the paint-y substance drip out of her mouth -- but there's still a good chance those who called out Gaga for glorifying bulimia (like Demi Lovato) won't take kindly to this display.

During Gaga's March 13 SXSW show, she was criticized for an onstage segment that involved British performing artist Millie Brown vomiting green and black liquid onto her multiple times.

Last week, Gaga tweeted, "It looks like green hair and mechanical horses are the thing now," apparently calling attention to parts of the Prismatic tour that aped imagery she'd used before.

Perry's Prismatic Tour continues tomorrow night at Birmingham, England's LG Arena. After its European leg wraps, the tour hits North America June 22 at Raleigh, NC's PNC Arena.

Justin Timberlake Set to Open Oprah's Master Class

Just ask Justin Timberlake, the first celebrity to impart his wisdom in the new season of Oprah's Master Class. In an exclusive sneak peek, the singer shares the biggest lesson from his career: being a beginner is a good thing.

"If I'm not learning from something that I'm doing, then that means I've done it before. Do something different, even if it's within the same medium," Timberlake, 33, says in the clip. "To try new things, that makes more sense to me than making a career out of doing the exact same thing over and over and over and over again."

Timberlake knows a thing or two about reinvention: The multitalented entertainer went from Disney darling and boy-band heartthrob to successful solo artist and buzzed about actor – and made some of the funniest Saturday Night Live sketches come alive along the way.

On Master Class, Timberlake discusses what drives him to step outside of his creative comfort zone.

"I like the moment where I can look at everyone and say, 'I have no idea how to do this. Let's figure it out,' " he says. "You do that with a stage performance as much as you do a character on film. That inspires me. That motivates me."

Oprah's Master Class premieres May 11 at 10 p.m. (ET) on the Oprah Winfrey Network. This season's lineup also includes Whoopi Goldberg, Lionel Ritchie, Billy Bob Thornton and Sharon Stone.

Grease Live Musical on Fox: Who Should Play Sandy and Danny?

The '50s are about to be back and coming to your TV screens live! Grease is the latest live musical to be picked up after the success of NBC's Sound of Music with Carrie Underwood and Stephen Moyer back in December 2013. Fox has announced it will air the production sometime in 2015.

No casting announcements have been made, but naturally, Broadway fans are desperate to know who will fill the lead roles of high school sweethearts Sandy and Danny—most memorably played by Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta in the beloved 1978 film.

A few names come to mind when looking to fill the shoes of the blonde goodie goodie and the tough guy greaser. For example, wouldn't Pitch Perfect's Anna Camp make the ideal innocent Sandy opposite real-life boyfriend and Pitch Perfect costar Skylar Astin as leather-clad bad boy Danny? Or maybe a professional singer like Taylor Swift (a country superstar, just like Underwood) is the way to go; Swift's Danny could be one of her famous exes, but we'd do anything to see Zac Efron don the T-Birds uniform.

Another Sandy option is sweet-faced Nickelodeon star Ariana Grande, who has plenty of experience as both an actress and a singer; for her love interest, how about another rising recording artist like Austin Mahone or Cody Simpson? Here's one radical suggestion: No one knows how to go from innocent to bad girl like Miley Cyrus! Is Hannah Montana the right fit for sweet Sandy?

Carrie Underwood Makes Time's List of 100 Most Influential People

Carrie Underwood has already earned legions of friends and fans in Nashville and beyond, but according to Time magazine, the Grammy winner's reach extends far past American pop culture.

The singer, 31, is among a host of leaders, humanitarians and entertainment heavyweights – including Pope Francis, Pakistani human rights advocate Malala Yousafzai, Russian president Vladimir Putin and Beyoncé – named to this year's illustrious Time 100, the magazine's annual list of the most influential people in the world. The Time 100, in its 11th year, focuses on "figures whose influence is likely to grow, so we can look around the corner to see what is coming," the magazine writes.

Each of the magazine's honorees is profiled by a guest contributor; Underwood's bit is by friend – and regular CMA Awards co-host – Brad Paisley, who says the starlet's career achievements are just part of what makes her special.

"It's her decency as a person that's so impressive," he writes, noting that not only can she "sing the fire out of a song and tell a joke," but that she's devoted to causes like the Red Cross and animal rights. "So many young girls want to be just like her. In that sense, I see hope for the world. If I had a daughter, nothing would make me happier than to hear her say she wanted to grow up to be like Carrie Underwood."

The singer, who will also perform at the Time 100 Gala in New York on Tuesday, told PEOPLE Country in 2010 that she hoped her own influence would stretch beyond her many awards and No. 1s.

"The legacy I want to leave is to the people who know me best – to my family, to people whose lives I've been a part of," she said. "I hope they can take something away from that, not just musically – set all of that aside. My parents were a good example to me and I want to be a good example to somebody."

Beyoncé and Jay Z Take Blue Ivy to Easter Brunch

Fresh off their fun in the desert at Coachella, Jay Z and Beyoncé enjoyed a relaxing Easter brunch with their family Sunday in Los Angeles.

The jet-setting couple and daughter Blue Ivy joined Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, and a few others at the Beverly Hills Hotel's Polo Lounge Sunday around 1 p.m.

Beyoncé wore a casual white shorts ensemble. Jay Z sported pants and a short sleeved shirt. And Blue Ivy looked adorable in a cream taffeta dress with gold stripes and a bunny head band.

The family was all smiles as Blue Ivy was treated to an Easter basket from the hotel and a special egg hunt for children.

And while the famous bunch brought personal security, they were beyond pleasant and polite to fellow diners. Beyoncé even stopped and said hello to another family's baby.

Miley Cyrus Says She 'Can't Quit Crying' over Canceled Shows

Miley Cyrus suddenly canceled two shows this week – citing a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics – there was some skepticism given her penchant for having a good time. But cynics be damned!

A rep for the singer, who is in the midst of her Bangerz Tour, clarified the singer's condition – and its severity.

"Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour in [North Carolina] a week ago," the rep tells PEOPLE. After being prescribed the antibiotic cephalexin, she "suffered an extreme allergic reaction."

"This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases," the rep says. "She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor’s care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time."

Cyrus, 21, who has been Tweeting from her hospital bed, "is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans," adds the rep.

Thursday morning she posted, "can't quit crying i wanna go back on tour. im meant to be onstage performing for y'all.... not laying in a hospital bed."

The singer has fought back at any naysayers who questioned her hospitalization and tour cancellations, Tweeting on Wednesday: "humans can b so selfish. If any1 thinks id rather b laying n a hospital bed than doing what I love on stage theyre…LAME. Im miserable."

Cyrus is no stranger to forging ahead in the face of personal setbacks. After her beloved dog Floyd died earlier this month, she continued her tour, giving an emotional onstage tribute to the deceased pooch.

Listen Official World Cup Anthem

Pitbull's Official World Cup Anthem, 'We Are One (Ole Ola)'

Mr. Worldwide is now Mr. World Cup.

Months before the FIFA World Cup kicks off its 2014 edition in Brazil this summer, Pitbull has released the official song for the tournament, "We Are One (Ole Ola)."

Getting in on the whistle-hook form favored by his spiritual brother Flo Rida, Pitbull implores his international audience to "put your flags up in the sky." Jennifer Lopez continues the odd, sweet friendship she and Pitbull share with a Beyoncé-style hip-hop verse, while Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte provides a vocal climax, as well as some local pride.

"We Are One" is the official song of the 2014 World Cup, not to be confused with the official anthem of the 2014 World Cup, "Dar um Jeito (We Will Find a Way)," by Carlos Santana, Wyclef Jean and Avicii. Both songs will appear on the official soundtrack album of the 2014 World Cup, which also features appearances by Ricky Martin, Shakira and the Baha Men.

Shakira: 'Jealousy Has Never Been an Issue' in My Relationship with Gerard Pique

It sounds like Shakira painted a misleading picture of her boyfriend Gerard Pique to the media.

A month ago, Billboard posted an interview with the mentor of The Voice, 37, in which she called her man "very territorial," adding, "Since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women."

But after some apparent backlash, the pop star wrote a Facebook post on Thursday, clarifying what she really meant by those comments.

"I was being humorous and now I see that some press took it very literally!" she said. "The reality is that we have a beautiful relationship of mutual trust, and jealousy has never been an issue on either side."

She went on to assure her fans that next time, "I'll be more careful when attempting to use my sense of humor, as clearly it can be easily misinterpreted!"

Selena Gomez Talks Giving In to Pressure: 'I Lost Sight of Who I Was'

After a rough start to 2014 that included a trip to rehab, Selena Gomez is opening up about issues she's been struggling with – some which may have led to her choice to seek treatment in January.

Taking the stage at a We Day conference in Oakland, Calif., the singer-actress – who stunned in a red pantsuit and remained poised throughout her speech – told a screaming crowd of fans that she had "given into … pressure."

"I'm surrounded by people who are supposed to guide me, and some of them have and others haven't," Gomez, 21, told the audience. "They pressure me … you gotta be sexy, you gotta be cute, you gotta be nice. You gotta be all these things."

And though she's grown up a bit differently from her fans – with the eyes of the world on her every move including multiple breakups and makeups with Justin Bieber – the star stressed she can relate to what they go through every day.

"You all have pressure that you have to deal with every day I'm sure with school, with work, with friends, with parents, with family. … They tell me what to wear, how to look, what I should say, how I should be," she continued, getting emotional.

"Until recently, I had given into that pressure. I lost sight of who I was. I listened to opinions of people and I tried to change who I am because I thought that others would accept me for it."

Now that she's learned she doesn't "know how to be anything but myself," Gomez is hoping her fans follow the same route.

"I know what it's like figuring out what types of friends you have," she said. "I'd be lying if I said I've never tried to make myself better by giving in because I have, but I've learned from my actions and for all of the things I've done, I'm proudest of that. I've learned from my mistakes."

Justin Bieber Poses Like James Dean, Claims He Doesn't Smoke Cigarettes

The next James Dean? Troubled singer Justin Bieber paid homage to the classic '50s icon on his Instagram account on March 22, posing in a white T-shirt with a cigarette dangling from his mouth.

"This is James Dean inspired. Don't ask me if I smoke ciggys cuz I don't," he captioned the photo on Instagram.

But lately the Biebs has been making headlines not for his legendary status, but for his scandalous activities and salacious reunions with ex Selena Gomez.

After a January arrest in Miami for drag racing and a DUI, the 20-year-old pop star reportedly harassed a flight attendant before the plane was detained and the pilots were forced to wear masks to fend off the weed smoke.

Earlier this month, he posted a sexy dance routine on Instagram with ex-girlfriend Gomez, 21, before quickly taking it down. This came after he serenaded the former Disney star at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.

Miley Cyrus Shows Off New Lip Tattoo

Miley Cyrus posted a pic on Instagram of what appears to be her latest ink – an emoji of a sad kitty on the inside of her lower lip.

While the singer isn't saying whether it's the real deal, her friend Katy Weaver posted a pic in which she and Cyrus both showed off their lower lips along with the caption, "We got tattoos on our lips… What the f–––"

Another sign? Cyrus, 21, also posted a Twitpic a little earlier in the day showing her in the bathtub with a washcloth covering her face. "My life right now," she wrote. "#OUCHYBOOBOO"

Cyrus has about 20 tattoos including a large dreamcatcher, a portrait of her grandmother, the words "Just breathe," quotes from Teddy Roosevelt and a peace sign, heart and cross on her fingers.

"People get tattoos of the most f––––d up s–––," she told Rolling Stone last September after getting the magazine's name tattooed on the soles of her feet.

Cyrus isn't saying why she chose to get sad kitty on her lip, but when asked on Friday by Cosmopolitan magazine what her favorite emoji was, she'd said a tongue, "obvi." Maybe the idea of getting a tattoo of a tongue on her lip was too much for the "Wrecking Ball" singer.

We can't wait to see what cat-lover (and Miley Cyrus tongue hater) Katy Perry has to say about this.

Shakira isn't always the one in charge.

The Voice coach admits that she lets her boyfriend, soccer player Gerard Pique, make some big decisions when it comes to her work.

Take, for example, her raunchy video with Rihanna for "Can't Remember to Forget," which features the pair stroking each other while smoking cigars.

The 37-year-old admits she asked for Pique's permission to do it. "He's very territorial," she reveals in the new issue of Billboard magazine. "Since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women."

The mom of one reveals that Pique's also the reason why she won't be playing the video vixen with shirtless men in her videos anytime soon.

"It's more than implied in our relationship that I can't do videos like I used to. It's out of the question, which I like, by the way," she says. "I like that he protects his turf and he values me, in a way that the only person that he would ever let graze my thigh would be Rihanna."

Shakira has also recorded a country song with her fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton.

"I was so nervous. You have no idea," she says of dabbling in country music and asking Shelton to sing with her. "I was so scared he was going to say, 'No, Shakira. I love you, but no.'"

But as to whether she'll get a pass from Pique to shoot the video with him, she's not saying. Maybe it'll be okay if Shelton keeps his shirt on ...

Shakira Gets Her Glowing Skin from a Bottle

Shakira's career has hit a high note. The Colombian-born singer is returning to her coaching post for The Voice's sixth season and recently released her own hit single with Rihanna, "Can't Remember to Forget You." And since her megawatt smile has earned her nearly as much attention as her hips, it comes as no surprise that Crest just named her their celebrity global brand ambassador.

"I feel like my smile is one of my best features so I make sure to take care of it," she says, explaining that she carries floss with her at all times and uses the Crest 3D White Whitestrips for extra brightness.

Shakira sat down with Everyday Health to share more on how she looks good despite nonstop traveling, what advice she'd give to new moms, and how she makes working out more fun.

On looking good while traveling: "I drink tons and tons of water and avoid things that will make me retain water while traveling, like too much sodium," says Shakira on keeping her skin hydrated in-flight. "I also use a vitamin C serum, which brightens up my complexion instantly."

On taming her mane: When it comes to caring for her famous hair, she tames her curls with the Colombian drugstore brand Sedal. "It's definitely inexpensive, but I love it," she says.

On looking camera-ready: Her low-maintenance beauty routine applies on set at The Voice, too. "I do my own makeup," she says, adding that she's happy to school any makeup newbies. "I'm usually the one giving [beauty tips] out!"

On making the most of being a new mom: Shakira, new mom to son Milan, also has some advice for other new moms. "Make sure to really savor all those little moments and take it all in," she says. "Even the times when you feel stressed, those will still be some of the best and most rewarding moments of your life."

What she didn't anticipate about being a mom is how intensely the connection with her son magnifies each day as she watches his personality forming. "I'm endlessly fascinated by him," she says.

On staying in shape: Fitting in a workout isn't exactly quick and easy for the singer. "I wish I knew of any shortcuts - believe me, I'd take them - but I think the most important thing is consistency and also that you enjoy whatever your workout is," Shakira says. She credits tennis, kickboxing, and basketball for her toned physique. "[I like] anything that gets me moving and keeps me from being bored," she says.

Pink to Perform at the Oscars

The Academy Awards are set to soar next month, now that Pink is making a special appearance.

"We are very excited to welcome Pink to the Oscar stage for the first time," producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement on Friday. "We are thrilled to have her join us for a highly anticipated moment on the broadcast."

The "Just Give Me a Reason" singer, who Tweeted "#holycow" when she shared the big news, isn't the only big name singing at the Oscars for the first time – Bette Midler, who's been nominated for an Oscar twice and served as a presenter, will also be performing.

Will they duet on "Wind Beneath My Wings" while Pink performs her trademark aerial acrobatics high above the A-list crowd? Producers aren't saying but we hope so!

Ellen DeGeneres is hosting the Oscars, which air on ABC on March 2, and presenters include Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway and Daniel-Day Lewis.

Katy Perry's Valentine's Day: John Mayer, a Tiara & a Night Out!

Katy Perry and John Mayer spent Valentine's Day enjoying each other's company at a private table in the VIP room at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood.

So what's a girl to wear for a fun night of music and love? A festive blunt-cut wig with a tiara on top, along with a black crop top and black retro skirt.

The loving musical partners, who arrived after midnight, spent the wee hours chatting and laughing, their table adjacent to another that seated Perry's BFF Markus Molinari.

Keep up with Katy Perry in the pages of PEOPLE Magazine by subscribing now.

As the night progressed, the "Dark Horse" singer got into the spirit, sipping a glass of Champagne and standing atop the sofa at her table to rock it out to Montel Jordan's party classic, "This Is How We Do It."

Before the lights came on and the club closed, Perry and Mayer made a quiet exit.

Britney Spears Goes Back to Brunette Hair in New Fragrance Ad Photo

Back to brunette! Britney Spears revealed darker locks in a snapshot she posted on Saturday, Feb. 8, while promoting her Fantasy "Naughty Remix" and "Nice Remix" perfumes.

"Spice up Valentine's Day by getting 'Naughty & Nice' ((pun intended))," Spears, 32, wrote. In the pic, the "Work Bitch" songstress is seen smiling at a mirror and holding up her fragrance bottle. (On Feb. 4, the entertainer was still sporting her lighter locks, as seen in a photo she posted while rehearing for one of her Las Vegas shows.)

This isn't the first time the mom of two has changed up her 'do. Last February, Spears -- then off her fresh split with fiance Jason Trawick -- traded in her trademark blonde locks for a brunette hue when she attended Elton John's Oscars party. She complemented the dark tresses with a black, cleavage-baring sequined gown for the special evening.

Shakira, Rihanna 'Can't Remember To Forget You' music video

The Caribbean ladies make for a sizzling combination in the sexy video, for the first single from the ‘Why Wait’ singer’s tenth album, ‘Shakira’

Rihanna and Shakira get up close and personal in the music video for upcoming single 'Can't Remember To Forget You.'
Shakira is back with a brand new steamy music video - and this time Rihanna has also come along for the ride.

The Colombian stunner has teamed up with the Bajan beauty for the provocative "Can't Remember To Forget You" clip.

Posted online Thursday, it's already shaping up to be the hottest spot of 2014 with more than 2 million views in just a matter of hours.

The video begins with Shakira romping around on a bed as she sings about the mistakes she's made in love.

"Working with her was utopia," said the 36-year-old mom-of-one, who gave birth to Barcelona soccer star Gerard Pique's son Milan in Barcelona, Spain, last January.

The 36-year-old says she enjoyed working with Ri-Ri.

"She's the sexiest woman on the planet," she added.

"And at the end of the day, we're both just basically Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good and so real. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher," she revealed.

Taylor Swift Thought She Won Album of the Year Grammy

Taylor Swift Thought She Won Album of the Year Grammy.
The other side of Taylor Swift's surprise face.

The pop-country superstar, 24, didn't exactly clean up at the 2014 Grammys inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles Sunday, Jan. 26. Although nominated in several major categories and pulling off an admirable, headbanging piano rendition of "All Too Well" onstage the awards-circuit veteran went home empty handed.

Beyonce and Jay Z kicked off the Grammys 2014 inside L.A.'s Staples Center Sunday, Jan. 26 with a performance that'll be difficult to top. Although rapper Jay Z, 44, is the one up for multiple statues this year for his Holy Grail album, Blue Ivy's mom and dad selected a duet-track from Beyonce's late-December surprise album, "Drunk in Love" for their set. (Us Weekly was first to reveal that the super-couple would be performing together.)

Victoria Beckham on Spice Girls Reunion: "I Won't Ever Do It Again"

Hopefully Spice Girls fans truly cherished the group's 2012 London Olympics closing ceremonies reunion, because it will be their last. In a new issue of Vanity Fair Italy and Spain, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham opened up about the reunion and quashed any hopes of future performances.

"I won't ever do it again," the woman formerly known as Posh Spice said in the issue (via the Daily Mail). "Doing the Olympics was an incredible honor. I was so proud to do it, proud to be British. That was a perfect time to say, 'That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more. Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party."

Beckham often speaks fondly of her Spice Girls days, but after the group -- which also included Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, and Emma Bunton -- officially disbanded in 2000, she quickly moved on. Victoria married soccer star David Beckham in 1999 and the couple has four children -- Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, 8, and Harper, 2.

After serving as the face of Marc Jacobs in 2008, Beckham started her own self-titled -- and hugely successful -- fashion line, which is now worn around the world by A-List celebrities like Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Blake Lively, Beyonce, and Cameron Diaz.

"The Spice Girls were successful because we celebrated women," Beckham mused. "That's why I do what I do today."

Shakira and Rihanna Song Collaboration

The Shakira and Rihanna Song Collaboration for “Can’t Remember To Forget You”

Rihanna has collaborated on songs with Eminem, with Jay Z, with Drake, with Nicki Minaj. But perhaps RiRi’s most anticipated song is this one with Shakira, because who knew that those two ladies could combine their sounds and make awesome-sounding music.

The track, “Can’t Remember To Forget You,” debuted first thing this morning on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show and website, which is, you know, a nice way to take the internet’s attention away from last night’s Golden Globes.

Lorde, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke Added to Grammy Awards Show

Katy Perry, Lorde, Robin Thicke and Metallica will take the stage at this year's Grammy Awards, Billboard reports, joining an already stacked lineup that also includes Daft Punk, Pink, Kendrick Lamar, Merle Haggard and more.

Lorde will make her Grammy telecast debut after notching four nominations – including Record and Song of the year for "Royals" – and performing at the nominations ceremony back in December. Perry also performed at the Grammys Nomination Concert Live!! event, via a satellite feed from Canada, and will vie for Song of the Year too with "Roar" off her fourth album, Prism (the track will also compete for Best Pop Solo Performance).

Metallica's performance will mark the group's first at the Grammy's since 1991, and to honor the occasion the metal heroes will take the stage with master pianist, Lang Lang, who is also the Grammy Cultural Ambassador to China. Thicke, who is up for three Grammys, will take the stage with jazz-rockers Chicago.

The Grammys already have a handful of unique collaborations lined up for this year, chief among them what's sure to be an epic performance from Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder, Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams (the latter two appeared on the Robots' summer smash "Get Lucky," which is up for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance).

Other previously announced performances include Pink and fun. frontman Nate Ruess (their duet "Just Give Me A Reason" is up for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance), Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons, and, to cap it off, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton.

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles January 26th on CBS, with LL Cool J returning as host.

Britney Spears Gracefully Handles a Wardrobe Malfunction During Vegas Show

Now this is how to survive a wardrobe malfunction! Britney Spears just keeps on dancing when her costume falls open, showing the audience her entire bare back and threatening to reveal much more during the second night of her residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

The pop star is quickly aided by two of her backup dancers, who struggle to get the glittery top back in working order as the singer performs her hit song "Circus."

Spears revealed some nerves before the opening of her show, "Piece of Me," in a behind-the-scenes E! documentary, I Am Britney Jean. She also confessed to being shy and admitted that she once felt "alienated from the public" after incessant media scrutiny forced her to hole up at home.

But the night before her Vegas debut, Spears's anxiety morphed into excitement, evident in a sexy Twitpic she posted of herself, along with the caption, "Can't believe the 1st show is almost here!!!"

Katy Perry: Why John Mayer and I Often Don't Speak at Home

Both singers need frequent vocal rest – Mayer has needed it critically due to his serious vocal-cord problems – and so, quite often, their home can be oddly quiet.

"I understood that he couldn't talk, and the only way he could communicate was through an iPad," Perry, 29, says in an interview airing Friday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "Some days I have to go on complete vocal rest, like no anything, no whispering. Whispering is actually really bad. There's just a lot of silence in our house most of the time."

When DeGeneres suggests playing Pictionary, Perry comes back with a better idea: "We should just learn sign language," she says.

Later, Mayer, 36, surprises Perry on the set. And after Perry makes a joke about Kanye West's "Bound 2" video – saying Kim Kardashian's hair was blowing the wrong way – Mayer jokes that her humor is all the talking they need at home.

"This is why voice rest is just fine," he says. "You get these chestnuts."

Meanwhile, Mayer's new duet with Perry, "Who You Love," is about persevering through the ups and downs of a relationship. And Perry says she's glad she did that with Mayer through their time together.

"I think when two people are involved, someone other than yourself, you have to figure out a compromise in a good way. And there's a lot of respect," she says.

"We have a lot of fun. You know, we have music as an understanding and love between each other, and we connect, and you know it's like he understands what I do because he does the same thing. And so after a long day, if it's been tough, I don't really have to go into it. He just gets it. You know, so it's nice with that understanding."

Cyrus to Perform Live in Times Square on New Year's Eve

The singer, 21, tweeted Wednesday, Dec. 11, "Smilers! There's been a change in my NYE plans. [Ryan Seacrest] asked me to perform in Times Square for #RockinEve!!"

Seacrest confirmed the news of Cyrus' addition during a Wednesday night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "We just added Miley Cyrus to be in Times Square right before the ball drops," the X Factor host told Kimmel. "We try to look for the artist that's created a lot of buzz and had a really big year."

Us Weekly confirmed that Cyrus will perform live in Times Square at 11:45 p.m. EST, right before the ball drops. The "Wrecking Ball" singer was originally scheduled to appear at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, Fla., alongside Pharrell Williams on the final night of 2013. She added to her big announcement, "I'm bummed I won't be in Miami," as she thanked her "homies" at the luxe venue "4 their support."

New Year's Rockin' Eve programming will begin at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 on ABC. Seacrest will then lead the annual countdown with View cohost Jenny McCarthy from Times Square close to midnight. Fergie will host the West Coast rendition of New Year's Rockin' Eve with performers like Ariana Grande and The Fray.

Britney Spears Makes Her Big Vegas Entrance

Britney Spears sure knows how to create a scene.

With one estimate saying 1,000 people were waiting for her, the gathering took place outside the Planet Hollywood Resort on Tuesday as the pop princess made her "official arrival" to Sin City, all in anticipation of her 2-year residency show at the Strip hotel – due to kick off on Dec. 27, just in time for the New Year's Eve crowds.

With giant pink letters bearing Britney's name adorning the steps to the casino, at least a dozen dancers from her upcoming show performed outside the hotel, amounting to a bit of a sneak peak of what to expect when her "Piece Of Me" show opens – think fire breathers, along with a dancer re-enacting Britney's notorious 2001 VMA performance with the snake and aerialists.

And as the sun set and eight black SUVs rolled down the Las Vegas Strip, Spears, who turned 32 on Monday, arrived in a restored 1958 Chevy Impala convertible.

Looking upbeat and wearing a black cocktail dress with a rhinestone top, Spears waved to her fans, posed for photos and signed a few autographs.

"This is my city now," she told the crowd, "so I can't wait to see you guys opening night."

Prince William Joins Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift for 'Livin' on a Prayer'

All right, it wasn't quite a supergroup. But the 600 invited guests who witnessed a slightly nervous Prince William joining Taylor Swift and Jon Bon Jovi for a rendition of "Livin' on a Prayer" will likely never forget it.

Rocking a tux, the prince was led to the stage by Swift late Tuesday night at Kensington Palace. Once in front of the mic, he clapped his hands and nodded his head to the music as those in the crowd hollered the chorus. At times he even managed to harmonize with Swift and Bon Jovi – and play air guitar.

The impromptu concert was described by William's aides as completely "off the cuff," and as it concluded, William and Swift high-fived each another, while Bon Jovi, who was awarded the Great Britain Youth Inspiration Award in honor of his Soul Foundation, gave his royal backup singer a big hug.

The Winter Whites Gala to raise money for one of William's favorite charities, the homeless youth organization Centrepoint, began with a reception at the state apartments of the palace where William lives with Kate and Prince George and continued with a private dinner for VIPs at the Orangery on the grounds.

Earlier, Swift performed acoustic versions of her hits "Trouble," "15" and "Love Story," with its tale of princes and princesses.

"It's strange that I end up at a palace playing this song," she said. "I'm very excited, though."

As were the others, including Hollywood scriptwriter and producer Danielle Alexandra, whose movie experience helped her create a Doctor Zhivago-themed wonderland in the palace.

"There is a heartfelt reason behind this," she said, "for the homeless young people."

Beyonce Rocks Sexy Red Leather Trench Coat, Long Wavy Hair While Shooting New Music Video

Beyonce strutted the streets of New York City on Nov. 19, giving her signature smoldering glances at the cameras while rocking a deep red leather trench coat. The chart topper paired the look with silver stilettos, matching red eyeshadow and lipstick, and long, wavy blonde hair.

The "Standing On the Sun" singer currently has a short break from her Mrs. Carter World Tour, which picks back up in Vancouver on Nov. 30 before wrapping at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Dec. 22.

After six months of globe trotting for her tour, Beyonce appears to be focusing on new music, a fact diehard fans are surely excited about. Rumors of the pop diva's fifth solo album have been circulating the Internet since before her stunning Super Bowl performance in February 2013.

She's unofficially released the new tracks "Grown Woman" and "Standing On the Sun" through her Pepsi and H&M commercials respectively. And in March 2013 she released the song "Bow Down/I Been On" on her website.

So far no details about the project have been released, and many have questioned whether it will even happen in 2014. But after Queen Bey was spotted shooting a video aboard the Cyclone roller coaster at Brooklyn's Coney Island in August 2013 and now this shoot on the streets of New York City, signs are pointing towards new releases coming soon.

Miley Cyrus Calls Controversial MTV Europe Music Awards a Blur

Miley Cyrus continues to make no apologies for her controversial behavior.

Following a touchy-feely performance during Sunday's MTV Europe Music Awards – and accepting an honor for her "Wrecking Ball" video while apparently lighting up a joint – the pop star took to her Twitter account to make one thing clear: She doesn't care what anyone thinks.

"Sometimes in life you just gotta decide to not give AF," Cyrus wrote, following up with, "Last night was a blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr thanks @katyperry for hosting."

The additional Tweet included a link to a scantily clad Cyrus walking on the show's stage.

The performance comes just a few months after the starlet's infamous bump and grind against Robin Thicke during the MTV VMAs.

Lady Gaga to Sing in Space in 2015

No one ever said she was down-to-earth! In early 2015, Lady Gaga will become the first artist to sing in outer space, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.

The "Dope" performer, 27, is set to blast off in a Virgin Galactic ship and belt out a single track during the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival in New Mexico. "She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere," says a source, who adds that the diva's glam squad will join her in the shuttle.

Zero G Colony is a three-day hi-tech festival set to take place at Spaceport America in New Mexico that features world-class entertainment and cutting-edge technology. Gaga's performance in space is planned to take place on the third day at dawn, which is approximately six months after the first Virgin Galactic commercial flight.

A source says the historic event will be "like nothing the world has seen before."

And just in case the force isn't with the pop star, a source tells Us, "Gaga has taken out a ridiculous life insurance policy!"

Miley Cyrus Says Music Is Her Boyfriend

Miley Cyrus doesn't mind being single these days ... because music is her sweetheart.

"I need to treat my music like a relationship – give it my time and all the attention it deserves – that's my main love right now," the singer, 20, tells December's Cosmopolitan, on sale Nov. 5.

"This is the best time of my life. I'm not going to look back on it and be like, 'I wish I hadn't been dwelling over a breakup,' you know?" she says of her split with Liam Hemsworth.

And Cyrus is finding support from fellow musicians Kanye West and Katy Perry, whom she says can understand her experience when very few can.

"The support of other artists is important because there are not many people who can relate to what I'm going through right now. Kanye West is one of those people, and even Katy Perry has been so cool," she says.

"It's easy for Kanye to support me because we're totally separate lanes of competition, but for Katy to say that she appreciates what I'm really doing for the pop industry, that keeps you going. And I mean, who cares what the media buzz is if Kanye West is telling you that you're the s---?

"Even people who want to hate on me, they can't even shut down the fact that I'm literally what everyone is talking about," Cyrus says.

Taylor Swift Releases New Love Song "Sweeter Than Fiction": Listen Here!

Fans and critics of Taylor Swift have come to expect either painful breakup tunes or light, bubbly love songs from the singer-songwriter phenom. Her latest single, "Sweeter Than Fiction," is the latter. Her first new song since her 2012 album Red was released has an '80s vibe and will be featured in the upcoming British biopic One Chance.

The film tells the story of store clerk Paul Potts who rose to fame as an opera singing sensation onBritain's Got Talent in 2007.

Swift's song was co-written by fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff (who is currently dating Girls star and creator Lena Dunham), which is perhaps the most surprising element of the entire song.

Featuring lines like "proved me right when you proved them wrong" and "there you stand 10 feet tall, I will say I knew it all along," the tune has all the makings of another hit for the 23-year-old singer-songwriter.

Swift released her fourth studio album, Red, in October 2012 to the highest recorded opening U.S. album sales in a decade. The Grammy winner became the only female artist to have two million-plus opening weeks.

She is currently writing songs for her next album and traveling the globe for her Red Tour.

The Jonas Brothers Cancel Tour Due to 'Deep Rift Within the Band'

The Jonas Brothers are canceling their tour – two days before it was set to begin, PEOPLE has learned. The reason?

"There is a deep rift within the band," their spokesman, Jesse Derris, tells PEOPLE exclusively. "There was a big a disagreement over their music direction."

Over the weekend, an argument between the trio – Nick, 21, Joe, 24, and Kevin, 25 – regarding the direction of the band and its music led to the decision to cancel their 19-date tour, which was to kick off Friday.

Ticket holders' money will be refunded.

Meanwhile, it isn't clear what this means for the Jonas Brothers, who became a huge success – selling over 20 million albums worldwide – after signing with Hollywood Records in 2007. Asked what the future holds, their rep tells PEOPLE, "It remains to be seen."

Over the last few years, the brothers have each pursued other projects. Nick and Joe released solo albums and pursued acting careers while Kevin and his wife Danielle have starred in their own reality series, E!'s Married to Jonas.

Earlier this year, the band released new music, with the single "Pom Poms" and more recently, "First Time," with more to come off of their project, V. Now, that is also up in the air.

A source close to the band says this doesn't have to do with the fact Kevin and Danielle are expecting their first child, clarifying that it's only about "creative differences."

Katy Perry Recalls the Time Barbara Walters 'Shaded Me' for Being Late

Got an interview with Barbara Walters? Here's a tip: Don't be late.

Katy Perry learned that the hard way when, during a scheduled sit-down with the veteran journalist, she happened be running behind schedule ... only to run straight into Walters's ire when the interview finally got under way.

In the latest issue of Billboard, the "Roar" singer, 28, looks back on the encounter, which happened to coincide with the demise of Perry's marriage to her then husband, Russell Brand.

"I shouldn't have done the interview: I was playing Madison Square Garden that same night, and I knew that the end of my marriage was coming. I was just exhausted and stressed," she tells the mag.

(Although Perry doesn't specify which interview it was, she did appear on Walters's "Top 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011" in December of 2011, just two weeks before Brand filed for divorce.)

Perry, who is now happily dating John Mayer after the two weathered a brief rocky patch, says she had warned everyone that she was running late for her interview, but when she finally arrived, Walters was none too pleased.

"When I got there, I apologized immediately, but then she said to me, 'You know, I've only ever waited for one other person this long, and you know who that person was? Judy Garland. You know how she turned out, right?' " Perry recalls.

"I was like, 'Oh, snap! Yes, b––!' " she says. "I think it's the coolest thing that Barbara Walters shaded me."

Still, Perry says it was a difficult moment in her pop music career.

"I just couldn't tell her as we were sitting down for a mega-interview, 'Hey, my marriage is falling apart. Give me a break.' "

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth End Engagement

It's officially over: Reps for both Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth confirm to PEOPLE exclusively that the engagement is off between the two stars.

The news marks the end of a tumultuous year in which Cyrus, 20, and Hemsworth, 23, have experienced more break-ups than bonding moments.

The couple – who first met on the movie set of 2010's The Last Song – got engaged in May 2012. At the time, the singer told PEOPLE, "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam."

But earlier this year, the pair decided to postpone their wedding.

Cyrus was subsequently seen out without her 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring but soon it was back on her hand and the couple were reunited in July in Canada, where Hemsworth was shooting his new movie Cut Bank, and on the red carpet for his movie Paranoia in August.

Since then the couple seem to have been living separate lives as the "Wrecking Ball" singer continues to plug her album Bangerz and Hemsworth prepares to promote Catching Fire.

Reps for both stars had no further comment.

Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ Smashes One Direction!

Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ Smashes One Direction’s VEVO Record, her  image overhaul has attracted record-breaking attention.

The 20-year-old pop singer’s new music video for new single “Wrecking Ball” has shattered the record for most views on VEVO in the first 24 hours, with 19.3 million views across the music video platform. This isn’t the first time Cyrus has reigned supreme over VEVO, though.

“We Can’t Stop,” the first single from her upcoming album, “Bangerz,” broke a previous record when it debuted on VEVO in June. One Direction’s “Best Song Ever” stole the title in July when the music video hit 12.3 million views in 24 hours.

In the larger YouTube landscape, Psy’s “Gentleman” became the first music video to rack up over 20 million views in its first 24 hours last April. Cyrus’ was shy of breaking any records outside of VEVO, but she did follow in Psy’s footsteps by pummeling Justin Bieber’s 2012 hit “Boyfriend,” which debuted last year with 8 million views in the first 24 hours.

Cyrus’ “Wrecking ball” is currently approaching 22.5 million, and is even more revealing than her controversial VMA performance (see side boob in video above), which apparently has given her the boost in attention she was hoping for.

Still, there were some drawbacks. Vogue editor Anna Wintour was decided to nix Cyrus’ appearance on the December issue’s cover in wake of the twerknado that rolled through the media after Cyrus took the VMA stage in skin-colored under garments last month, and proceeded to back her butt into the crotch of married man Robin Thicke.

Cyrus may not be too worried about losing the high-profile publicity, though, because she’s already gotten plenty of it — even if a lot of it wasn’t all that flattering — and she doesn’t “pay attention to the negative” noise surrounding her career. Instead, she’s just thanking her fans for the success.

“Bangerz,” her 13-track new album which features Britney Spears, goes on sale on Oct. 8.

Carrie Underwood Takes a Stiletto-Fueled Stage Tumble
Blame it on some high and hot footwear.

Carrie Underwood was a good sport after taking a nasty stage tumble on Thursday night in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she was performing in concert.

The American Idol alum, 30, Tweeted photos of her perfectly pedicured foot in a black walking brace as she made fun of the mishap, which occurred when her five-in. heels caught the hem of an extra-large shirt, sending her to her backside mid-song. Her fall comes just a week after her husband weathered his own strange foible – a chipmunk bite.

"Hey, remember that time in Corpus Christi when that girl busted her butt on stage?! Hilarious. Oh wait, that was me!" Underwood later Tweeted, hashtagging her message with the word "klutz" as she linked to an Instagram photo sent to her by a fan right before her spill.

The pet-loving Underwood, who is set to host the CMA Awards on Nov. 6 in Nashville with Brad Paisley, added that she and her aching foot were recovering just fine. "Good news, it's not broken… AND I got some new footwear," she Tweeted.

But even as the six-time Grammy winner made fun of her spill, at least one of her Twitter followers praised her show-must-go-on moxie as she completed her song seated on stage. "@carrieunderwood didn't fall tonight. She attacked the floor ... Wearing five-inch heels. She's got mad ninja skills," the fan Tweeted with wishes for Underwood to feel better.

Underwood was expected to return to the stage Friday night on her next tour stop in Hidalgo, Texas.

'N Sync Reunion Helps 2013 MTV Video Music Awards Grab Big Ratings

More than 10 million viewers tuned into the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, thanks in no small part to the highly anticipated reunion of 'N Sync, who were part of a performance to honor member Justin Timberlake winning the Video Vanguard Award.

Viewership for the event was up 66 percent from last year's telecast. The ceremony also drew a 7.8 rating in the ages 12-34 demographic — making it cable's No. 1 entertainment telecast of the year thus far.

A day after reuniting with his bandmates for the first time in a decade, JC Chasez revealed how the 'N Sync reunion came together on On the Air with Ryan Seacrest. "It was just a matter of time. Everybody would ask us, 'When are you guys going to do something?' " Chasez said Monday. "First of all, it was the worst-kept secret ever, [but] Justin gave me a buzz and he said, 'Hey man, listen. I'm getting this award and they have given me a pile of time to perform. We started our careers at MTV, and I think we should get the band back together."

After so many years apart, Chasez admitted it took a bit for the five guys to re-learn their iconic dance moves. "Everyone was going, 'Can we go through this one more time slowly?'" Chasez said. "So that part was pretty funny."

Despite the overwhelming reaction to their performance, Chasez said not to expect a reunion tour anytime soon. "No," Chasez said. "It was just about five guys who were great friends who spent 10 or 15 years together touring and we ... wanted to give that back to our fans, but we were there mainly to support Justin."

Intruder found at Lopez's Hamptons estate

Police say an intruder had been living for a week on Jennifer Lopez's property in the Hamptons while she was away.

Southampton police said Wednesday she had an order of protection against 49-year-old John Dubis of Rhode Island. Information on why the order was obtained wasn't immediately available.

Newsday (http://bit.ly/13HkOkX ) says workers discovered Dubis in the pool house of the Water Mill mansion on Aug. 8.

He was arraigned the following day on charges of burglary, criminal contempt, stalking and possession of burglar tools. He's being held on $100,000 bail. His next court date is Aug. 28.

The publicist for the singer-actress couldn't be reached for comment and it was unclear whether Dubis had a lawyer.

Lopez bought the 3-acre Water Mill mansion in May.

Jennifer Lopez Is Returning To American Idol

Jennifer Lopez is back! After months of speculation, sources have confirmed to Us Weekly that the 44-year-old singer will be returning to American Idol for its 13th season. Lopez had served as a judge for two previous seasons in 2011 and 2012.

Lopez will be joining fellow musician Keith Urban, who has already signed on for another consecutive year. "I can't talk too much about it . . . I will confirm one thing is Keith [Urban] is gonna return to the show," FOX chairman Kevin Reilly announced at the 2013 Summer TCA Press Tour in early August.

He added: "Keith did a great job last year, the fans really liked him. Keith's a really funny guy . . ."

The "Live It Up" singer's rejoining of the singing competition follows the departures of Season 12 judges, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and veteran judge Randy Jackson. Jackson announced his exit in May, while Carey and Minaj followed suit later in the month.

Auditions are currently underway for Season 13 of American Idol. A third judge has not yet been determined.

Lady Gaga Channels Her Troubled Teenage Self

She's the new queen of reinvention but Lady Gaga really takes that title seriously for the September issue of V magazine – posing for four different covers based on different stages in her life.

In the photo featured here, the singer wears a custom Saint Laurent sequined jacket and goes back to her vulnerable teenage years.

"That look was very hard for me because that is how I looked when I was 19 until I was 21 years old … Maybe longer," she says. "I got my hair cut like that when I was 18 and all these really painful things happened during this time."

The 27-year-old – whose new single, "Applause," was released on Monday, a week early after it was leaked online – admits it was hard "to go back to that place."

Keep up with Lady Gaga in the pages of PEOPLE Magazine by subscribing now.

"I have an ability to experience pain for long periods of time – to endure it, whether it's mental pain or physical pain," she explains. "I think it's because of my discipline as a child. I studied piano and then theater and then dance, so I have this ability to endure long periods of pain. But as a result, when I became an adult at 18, I allowed myself to stay in bad situations because I was able to take the pain."

"Although I was able to withstand a challenge for that period of time in my youth, the results were destructive. I was left a shell," she adds. "Does anyone really know what I went through to get here?"

The singer, who's admitted to battling an eating disorder and a drug problem when she was younger, says it was her creativity that saved her.

"Art was always the thing that drove me forward in these challenging and painful circumstances."

Lady Gaga's new album, Artpop is out Nov. 11.
